WAIT!!!

Can't we just PRAY and have God heal us? We could ENLIST all the churches to DEDICATE 15 min each service to "praying for health in America".

That way, we'd never NEED healthcare!

That's pretty CHEAP and inexpensive, right? And it's supposed to work...?

Won't work.

God is too busy making the lives of liberals like you miserable.

Maybe we can just conquer illness with employment and love. You lefties say that will beat Isis right, so surely it can take care of any ailments.

Shhhh, the corps also deduct the medical costs for insurance from their taxes. So this reduces the amount of $$$ going into the coffers.

It is easier to tell the poor to go to a food pantry to get a medicine that they don't know they need because they have yet to see a Dr.

The tax payer is already paying large Corps health care bill

It's not like that.
If a medicine bank would exist ... it would handout only paracetamol and even that would be limited.
People can't get the food they can't buy at a foodbank.
The foodbank just hands you whatever they get.
That's usually not the food you needed and barely enough to get you through a couple of days if you don't have anything else.

A website to set something up making people able to trade their drugs for shipping costs.
That would help. But would surely be illegal.
(Drugstrade).
Government should help.

How is it dishonest? Are you paying for your own coverage with insurance? If so, why is the money you put in going to other people's medical bills? Because that's how insurance works, they take money out of the pool that you pay into to pay for everyone who contributes to that pool.

There's nothing dishonest about what I've said. Health insurance is nothing more than universal healthcare that has been compartmentalized.

Easy way to look at it is.

Private insurance of any flavor is privatized socialism.

Your tax dollars reimburse unpaid hospital bills, most notably emergency room visits. Why not stop doing that and put the money into free healthcare for poor people? Make hospitals compete for insured patients.

That hasn't been the case for a while now. The government changed that about seven or eight years ago. Now, the hospitals figure that amount they lost and they stick it in a formula and then at the end of the year they use that formula to boost what Blue cross and other health insurances pay them. So who pays for this now? The people who pay premiums for health insurance get a cost increase. I am not sure if this went on before Obama at all, I did see it about two years after he took office and it said this had something to do with a recent change.

Reading that surprised the hell out of me.

good start but nobody talks about the elephant in the room!
Healthcare in USA is a LOT more expensive that the rest of the world
Ask any doctor and he'll tell you why "MALPRACTICE INSURANCE"
half of what they earn goes to leeches.
We need to reign in the Insurance companies and Lawyers that suck the money out of us!
then we'll see costs come down.

Anyone who is still pointing fingers at the poor or uninsured and calling them out just really isn't paying attention to what is going on. We are headed for a catastrophe, is it housing bubble 2.0, is it the $20,000,000,000,000 debt, is it the health care industry crashing, is it a crash of wall street, is it a war to avoid a crash, is it a derivatives crash.....

There are endless possibilities and a number of them are coming to a head because we have allowed our leaders to run this bitch into the ground. The check will come due, and what are we ever to do?

Health care is just a symptom of a much bigger problem our particular flavor of capitalism will always have. There is a reason there is well over a billion $$$ from health care related field lobbyists going to our super smart politicians.

Big "problem" is that the people who are not poor, don't want the people who are poor to stick around too long. Forget their touchy-feely rhetoric. It's just to ease their conscious, and to get approval from other people who feel the same way. It's mass make-believe in action.

A medicine bank can also control demand. If poor get free healthcare paid by middle class, they use that service as much as possible, it's not their money. A medicine bank set up by Soros would have limited supply. It would encourage the poor to take only as much medicine as they need.

The ultra rich donate billions to political campaigns. Instead of doing that, their money can be better used setting up medicine banks and stocking them up with medicine for people who can't afford medicine.

The only way you control demand is refusal of service.

Ha.

That is counter intuitive. Why do you think they are donating? They will not get political favors for setting up a medical food pantry.

The middle class and poor should not break down their bodies working for the enrichment of the upper class.

If it weren't for the hard work, sacrifices and need to feed their families of the poor and middle class, the rich would not be, well, rich.

I have a better solution. Don't get sick! Don't eat the swill that's advertised. If you do? Do it and smile. Then walk a little more,..get some cuts on your hands, some scratches on your knees,.. Earn your "life"! Or, at least just have enough mental capacity to understand that you're actually "responsible" for your own health and others shouldn't have to "pay for it"?...Insurance is a scam. A "Bankers" snake oil. But if you do get sick? Suck it up and drive on! (Everybody dies). OP. There is no "dilemma". But there is a total lack of manliness and "real women". Which is a dilemma all by itself. Doctor this, and "educated" idiot that. They told me, I had cancer. But "they" wanted $16,000 more and a "exploratory surgery" then adked if I had "insurance". I asked, "How long will I be off work"?.. They said at least 6 months..I went back to work. Needless to say, that was seven years ago. I'm going to tell you and all these ATS people, ...TPTB use your fear of death, hardship, pain, anguish, fear and hate, hate and fear,.. against you.
Only the weak have a "delimma". They always do. Fear this, fear that. ...F'n organic waste. The more they bitch, the more I don't believe in "evolution".

You have obviously never tried it. I take that back. I'm guessing you have, and it didn't work? ... You probably asked it in a "all about me"..way. Now you're just a "unbeliever". Okay, maybe you didn't, in which case? You have no reason or "scientific"..."data".. with, to mock believers. You don't seem very "tolerant","exclusive", "respectful".."anti-hate".. But you "sound".. educated enough to not matter.

I can't say if they were wrong or right. I had X-ray and CT scan. Apparently, part of my body didn't show up, on either. They wanted to go digging around. I was already hurting and did my work... They told me it'd be at least 6 months after they dug around, before I could work again...I can't sit still that long, got Sh*t to do! I never got "treatment". I'm still kicking. I honestly believe, I'd have a less "quality of life".. If I let them idiots "learn stuff" on me. If they didn't come across as a used car salesman..I'd have probably let'em dig around.

By your "ideology" the "middle class " shouldn't be over weight, or..undereducated. They "work" so F'n HArD! My question for you? When did the "middle class" become entwined. with "the poor"? Maybe because they're living above their needs,.."wants"? Just so you know,.. Tinhorn. It is the "upper class" that hires people to work. No "poor".."middle class" man will pay someone to do what they can do themselves... Oh wait?!!??.. I now see your issue? Nah! Still ain't buying it!..
Here's something,.. Your body will "break down". Doesn't matter if you use it or not, or who you use it for... Obviously, you complain more than your body has ever given you... You seem, not worked enough.
