I'm pro-gay marriage, for the record. Have been for many years.

I do have a very, very conservative family, though, and one of their arguments was always " They will always push for more "

Many on the Left always insisted that's all they wanted... That no agenda was at play, that the end-goal was in sight and that they would quietly fade into silence if they felt gays were treated equally...Yet...that's not the case at all.

The acronyms have multiplied more and more over the years, and the things we "have" to support have become more and more ridiculous. Violence, vandalism, and many crimes have been committed by those "peaceful" people that simply think the world could be a better place if their ideologies would just manifest. We see how insane things have become...

So my question is, were the conservatives correct?

'LACTATIA'
What a beautiful, melodious name.

...just rolls right off the tongue.

I almost spit my water out when I saw his drag name....Lactatia.

Anywho....yes the GOP was correct.

And the parents in this video should be forced to take some parenting classes involving psychology and how this will affect their son.

a reply to: vonclod he's saying next up...marry your goldfish! As this holds no value to most people, really, take a survey, I feel go ahead, just don't invite me, I will be busy. I think the right feels from the religious view of it, it is preached to them weekly, and that's the generator of the opposition. If society has a future, the next couple of generations will not have issues with it, so some will have to tough it out for awhile. Forcing your views on the masses takes time, you rush it by force, you will have resentment from the straight people, if not, they lie....

It's not enough to accept it.

You now have to support it.

That's my main issue with socialism is that it knows no bounds. I'd classify myself as socially liberal and I voted in favor of gay marriage in my state, but I am very wary of a runaway socialist government taking root in America like the "revolution" Bernie Sanders keeps blabbing about.

And also why I generally support liberals in my local elections, but prefer republicans in the executive office. Because even though I don't often agree with republicans on social issues, they are forced to become more centralized socially because they get away with a lot less from the media and the people. Everyone is a lot more on their toes when a republican is in office.

A popular leftist can get away with murder...sometimes literally (allegedly).

It's about respect.

I will NEVER, I repeat, NEVER, have any respect for any individual or groups of individuals that do not show respect for my values and traditions.

The more that individuals or groups of individuals want to attack my values as a method of me giving them respect is most certainly doomed to failure.

It's like whipping a child into submission and then thinking the child loves you because they are timid and vulnerable around you - bzzzz, couldn't be more wrong - showing hate-filled disrespect towards already established traditions will be met with a big F.U if it's respect they expect.

If you are not willing to respect me first, then don't expect any respect back - at all.

Human instinct 101.

How do you have to support it?

I personally don't care what other people do, or choose to identify with..it seems crazy to me at times ..I don't support it all but I accept that it does not affect me personally so all the power too them.

Never thought of it that way. Makes since.

I think the issue is consent. With gay marriage you have two concentual adults. There's no 'more' after that.

I agree with the OP, but thats my opinion, idc for your respect either. My thoughts and opinion shouldnt matter to you. As long as you dont affect my life dont care. Go sodomize your bro-sis-mom-dad or marry your cat, mutilate your body for all i care. Your business not mine.

Well i hope you live by this and make sure YOU have respect for the other side and THEIR values and traditions. You have to give respect to receive it.

Why state the obvious? Jesus Christ - I don't go out looking to see who I can attack today - I have better more chilled sh!t to do than interfere in what others want to do.
