Healthy 21 year-old males don't end up like this for no reason, bub.
the reason is obvious to most, but not you, i'm gonna agree that you know to little to be so opinionated.

They did rule out torture. I figure he may have hanged himself, but they stopped him. That brain damage indicates lack of oxygen to the brain so, it's a fair guess.
I have not heard that, nor do I believe it. There are numerous forms of torture that could have caused his final condition without being detectable.

I agree with you in principle, but the time has come for America to be feared again.
Civis Americanus sum comes to mind...
"It is our sad duty to report that our son, Otto Warmbier, has completed his journey home. Surrounded by his loving family, Otto died today at 2:20pm," a statement from the family said.
It said the student was "unable to speak, unable to see and unable to react to verbal commands".

What is Trump going to do about it? Write an angry tweet?
At least your president, Donald J. Trump, got the kid home.

As sad as this is, when is it ever a good idea to go visit a hell hole.
I can't imagine even drunk or doped up that most folks would say, "road trip to visit Kim".
Even if you did, you would be an idiot to steal souvenirs.
There are a lot of historical places in the world that may have been safe a century or two ago to visit but now even with an army at your back it would be a bad idea.
But as far as reaction, no more than a few sanctions and maybe a strongly worded letter.
