These are after all the people who were incapable of seeing what would happen in Iraq if we just walked away.

The timeline/agreement to pull out of Iraq was set by the Bush administration. The Iraqis wanted us out of there.

How many times did Republicans do the same thing during the Obama administration? There was even a government shutdown a few years ago due to Republicans trying to stall.

I don't recall the Republicans ever intentionally grinding Senate business to an indefinite halt, just to delay the inevitable. They certainly weren't putting U.S. citizen lives at risk, as Democrats are promising to do.

You have a very short memory, don't you? And I find your depiction of all Democrats as immoral and un-American as ludicrous to the point of satire. You cannot possibly be serious. And if you are then you are staggeringly badly informed.

Did Republicans bring U.S. government business to a literal stand-still, as Democrats are going to do? Did Republican actions lead to people in various parts of this country dying, due to having a life-saving procedure denied them?

... yes.

The Japanese wanted us out after World War II...

They did not have that right...

And we still have a base in downtown Tokyo which is among the most exclusive real estate in the world...

When you lose a war you don't get to dictate terms...unless you're the whiny French...

Can I ask what on earth the reference to the French is supposed to refer to?
And the two examples are nothing like each other. For one thing, there's a 60 year period between them.

If you won't do your job you should be fired. The democrats are whiney babies.

Fire them all!

Your words describe exactly what Americans have been doing...draining the swamp of Democrats. During the Obama Presidency, Democrats lost a staggering 1,000+ seats across America!

Source: www.foxnews.com...

Apparently, people really hated the President's policies, but due to racial sensitivity, didn't voice their concerns. They simply voted his political party out of office.

Additional PROOF that Democrats are Anti-America and Anti-American. Tonight they will begin holding up Senate business, effectively throwing a monkey wrench into U.S. government legislative processes.

So for six yerars where was your constant complaining about how the GOP did nothing but constantly blocking Obama? So using your logic they are also Anti-America and Anti-American.

This radical move is an attempt to prevent Republicans from saving American lives.

Where does this delusion come from? Throwing millions off healthcare will save American lives?

If ObamaCare is not replaced, American citizens will LITERALLY DIE starting on 1.1.2018, due to not having health insurance coverage.

That will be the fault of the Republicans they are the ones getting rid of the ACA without replacing it. Democrats were smart enough to get the ACA passed without the help of the GOP but the GOP can't do it because even Republicans are against Herr Trumps plan.

Your arguments are the garden variety tit for tat. By your logic because the GOP was against Obama then therefore so should the democrats be against the GOP? Regardless of the issues at hand?

In your view the GOP was simply against Obama only because he was a democrat? It had nothing to do with Obama's policies they might have been against?

That's a very narrow minded view and one that proves you really don't understand politics. But you are representative of the majority of the democrats' thought process. Regardless of how good a plan may be from the conservatives you will revolt ONLY because it is a plan by the conservatives. It has nothing to do with the merits or lack of merits of any proposed legislation.

Wow. Not only have the democrats of today become overly sensitive emotional snowflakes they are literally devolving with respects to critical thinking capabilities.

When did the former US win a war????
Without the help of any "allies" they woudln´t even win a battle!
Typical divided states loudmouth behaviour!
Which wars you won again, except helping(!!!) the russians, the french, the brits and all the other allies to fight Hitler-Deutschland)???

And parts of you want to be that Hitler-Deutschland today, in the overseas...

Can parts of a nation, of a country, be that stupid?
Yes, as you can see live now!!!
Pray for education on your way down the drain!

When Obama got elected the GOP leadership came right out and said they were going to do anything possible to make him a one term President.

But I'm sure they shut down the government for well thought out, logical, reasons.

The French withdrew from NATO and kicked out America in 66-67...
De Gaulle forgot who kept Vichy war crimes out of the papers I suppose...

they have a small group of republican MEN gathered in a back room somewhere rewriting the law. they were saying that they really didn't have any plans to hold hearings or anything, just bring it out and take a vote...
all the dems want is to have some part in the process, a discussion on it, and THE TIME TO READ IT before they vote!!

heck rand paul even asked someone from msn that if they manage to come up with a copy of the thing, could they please send it to him.

the republicans are always the ones saying that we're a republic and not a democracy and how mob rule is so wrong... but when they are in charge, it's like, we're the majority, so just accept what we do...
if the polywogs in washington can't work together they need to get the heck out and let people who can have a chance..... and well, we should always watch for those things that they can work together on because it always seems that their the things that the majority of us, regardless of political party, don't like!!

I was pretty outspoken when polosi came out with her "we got to pass it to know what's in it" bit...
and I am against it this time.
still wishing that whoever types up these bills would just slip a paragraph somewhere in them stating that they will all resign because obviously they are neglecting their duties, and the proof is the paragraph itself!!!

You're welcome to post a link to what you're referring to, AngryCymraeg.

1. Democrats run the majority of Anti-American Main Stream Media.

2. Democrats will be grinding U.S. Senate business to a halt, starting tonight.

3. Democrats are running the "Not My President!" campaign against the President of the United States.

4. Democrats are responsible for inciting most the political violence in the streets.

5. Democrats cheered their martyred hero, James T. Hodgkinson, after he attempted to assassinate Republican Rep. Steve Scalise last week.

Get the point????

Anyone remember the "SECRET DINNER"???

On the night of Barack Obama’s inauguration, a group of top GOP luminaries quietly gathered in a Washington steakhouse to lick their wounds and ultimately create the outline of a plan for how to deal with the incoming administration.

...

After three hours of strategizing, they decided they needed to fight Obama on everything. The new president had no idea what the Republicans were planning.

Democrats didn't read the Affordable Care Act legislation put forth by their messiah Obama, before it was passed.
Proof: www.youtube.com...

Now, they want to know what's in the AHCA before it's passed?

You know...only ANTI-OBAMA people called him "messiah".

I've SEEN a lot of Trump people call him "DEAR LEADER" and "GOD EMPEROR" themselves.

Quite telling, and IRONIC. Lots of projection from intellectually dishonest conservatives!!!

it would be "anti-american" of them not to bring it to the floor, give everyone time to read it... AND THEM TO READ IT, and discuss it before they pass it!!! it doesn't matter if you are talking about obamacare or the ACHA. and, I do believe the dems did allow the republicans to offer suggestions..

wouldn't it be cool if you were as smart as you think you are. The new plan isn't Trump's plan, he hasn't had time to do anything to or with it, other than to push it through for the other Republicans who wrote it. It was a turd when it was initially wrote, it's a new turd now, and hopefully the senate will be able to put some polish on it, but as it looks now, the left is just as childish as the right was and we will now have a perpetual system of infantile bitching. But hey, keep riding that high horse, it will make the comedy much better when you fall.
