Lockheed announced at the Paris Air Show that they will build F-16s in India if they win the upcoming single engine fighter competition. They will
partner with Tata Advanced Systems, who currently builds C-130 empenage assemblies for Lockheed.
At the end of the year, Lockheed plans to move the production line to South Carolina, after completing the order for Iraq. They are working on deals
with Bahrain, Columbia, and Indonesia, but after Iraq, there are very few, if any firm orders left for the type.
