There is nothing to be overturned, there rulings are meaningless, and carry no other weight other than the religious mumbo jumbo that inspires said judgement.

Fact is Sharia law councils don't have the power to be handing out anything other than misplaced advice.

By the way British courts don't recognise Muslim divorce in this nation, just like the rest of us, people of the Muslim persuasion, need to peruse proper legal representation and procedure else said divorce is not worth the paper it was printed upon.

The big question for me is when a Sunni Muslim beats up a Shia Muslim for holding a different belief, is it still Islamophobia, or is it then Shiaphobia?

that's very good point regarding different Islamic religions hating each other. We then go back to being a predujis.

It's assault, serious assault, or possibly attempted murder.

All violent crimes carry with them a modicum of hatred.

As soon as you make it a race, hate or religious crime all you serve to do is diminish other crimes of a similar calibre.
