Seen JJ play a couple of times in the 90s.
Prefer Detroit techno to be honest but he is good live.
Used to DJ myself...if you like clubby trance I'm looking to offload a couple of thousand 12" s , need to free up some space!

Thanks! There's one album he did in particular I used to listen to in the late 90's but I can't remember the name of it now, It was the best of the best and i'm trying to locate it.

Can't help you there I'm afraid.
There's so many mix CDs out there and most of the ones I've heard are pretty formulaic and what I used to call flat-line.
Best to keep building up like you're going somewhere then save all the nutty stuff for the last hour or so.

If you're looking for some nice steady techno with a spooky "horror movie soundtrack" vibe then I'd highly recommend Klaudia Gawlas - Palazzo volume 8.
It makes me tap me feet n nod me 'ead.

Thank you for that first set, Im relaxing to it now. Paul van Dyk happens to be one of the first DJ's I was introduced to when I started listening to this stuff.
For an angel was what pulled me in at the time, and one of my all time favorite tracks is Nothing But You. Such serene melodies and harmonious vocals. I like We are Alive also.
