An unasked for prayer. Is akin to an unasked for hug, or touch. If you did not ask for it, it should not be given. thus t o say "pray for me" to a
monotheistic deity, who the prayer clearly thinks is the only true deity, invalidates my own polytheistic belief. It is in essence saying "you are
wrong, but here have a cookie". Thats fine, but I see it as an agressive move. Hence why I asked how you would feel about a payer to one of my
deities. Say either An Morrigan (The Morrigan) or
Catvrix? I don't offer prayers,
energy or hugs to those who have not given permission. It is good manners.
So thats my perspective.
