Yea okay. We all know you're actually picking Option 3: Masonic dominion over all.

True.

Ever see a sheeple-sandwich fight another sheeple-sandwich over poltics? No? Me neither.

Why wouldn't we agree? I am always for the rights of the individual, even if I don't like that individual or what they are saying.

Honestly there are days I wish we were still in the era of pre-internet. I don't recall using the internet much until like the 97-98 year maybe a few years before that. I was probably naive as hell but that is better than constantly being mis-informed or blatantly lied to.

My 9 year old is constantly talking about certain things and I have to correct him that what he is watching or reading is wrong. It's not a matter of my personal opinion issues either it's blatant lies to brainwash the young ones.

There are effective legal ways to go after the liberal media who are sewing dissent. Simply dig into the laws and rules that already exist and enforce them against MSNBC, CNN, WaPo, NYT.

Honest question: Can We The People sue them for false reporting? I would be willing to file.

We don't need to take out the media, hell let them keep triggering the weak minded to kill innocent people without accountability.

Never suggested otherwise. I was referring more to the notion of more government not equaling more security. That would be some seriously 'fuzzy-math'.

I don't think that the government should take over the media.

But if violent leftists continue to harm everyone who doesn't think like them, I would strongly encourage firing back.

Firing back at who? Let's think about what you just said for a minute.

Minnesota man who shot 5 Black Lives Matter protesters found guilty

So this insane wingnut, arguably influenced by the rhetoric of right-wing media and politicians, puts on a mask and shoots 5 BLM protesters. Is that your fault? Did you do that? I've seen you say really incendiary things about BLM.

Here's another one from about a month and a half ago that you probably missed because ATS is a pro-Trump bubble where any violence by a presumed "leftist" is harped on incessantly and used against posters who lean left.

Trump Supporter Targets Non-Republicans in Machete Attack

On Friday, a former student at a university in Lexington, Ky., carried a machete and a bag of knives into the school’s café and attacked students who identified themselves as Democrats, authorities said.

Is that one your fault? No? I wouldn't think so. How about this one from a few weeks ago? Again, you probably missed it because those of my political persuasion haven't been beating you over the head with it.

Campus killing: Suspect is a member of 'Alt-Reich' Facebook group, police say

Sean Christopher Urbanski, 22, of Severna Park, Maryland, is charged with murder in the death early Saturday of Richard Collins III, 23, a recently commissioned US Army second lieutenant who was due to graduate this week from nearby Bowie State University.

Do you similarly "strongly encourage" leftists to start shooting and stabbing back? Where do you honestly see that going?

We all need to band together to denounce political violence across the board without exception and stop trying to use examples of it as rhetorical weapons in political discourse which only serves to inflame more passion and foment continuing violence — particularly when people misrepresent reality to promote the narrative that "their side" is somehow under wholesale attack.

I know you have more principles than the clowns who can't wait for an incident of politically motivated violence for an opportunity to point fingers and smear those they disagree with politically in partisan circlejerks. Get on the right side of this?

And violent video games are to blame... and porn is to blame.... and music lyrics are to blame...

The real truth is that there are crazy, violent, hateful people (of all races/nationalities/religions/political affiliations), and it doesn't take much to set them off, while the rest of us can resist shooting/hurting people no matter what influences (subtle or otherwise) might be out there.

Case in point (to my earlier post on pg. 3), back then you had a much different, much larger and much wider, demographic watching / reading network programming and news (news in particular). Why? Because there was no other source. So, what we're seeing is the demographic of a changing audience skewing network programming. In other words, the audience has been reduced to a much more left biased group, hence the left bias in the MSM. Again, the bias of the MSM is a direct product of those who watch them.

Yea, but this is ATS, so nothing can ever be as simple as "dude was a douchebag and engaged in douchebaggery." There always has to be a boogeyman to blame, because the notion that there's a certain percentage of the population that would kill you as soon as talk to you is too scary for some folks.

The notion that the media is driving violence or hatred is ridiculous. That's the narrative being sold by people like Savage in hopes of shutting down/taking over the free press.

So if a violent leftist is firing at someone, they should just take it?

You are very sick.

EDIT;
I should have just ignored you.

I'll leave what I wrote, but I'm going to walk away.

Too many are trying to marginalize what happened yesterday and it is pissing me off.

Have a wonderful day.

So what is your proposed solution?

Complete media take over? FEMA camp the SJWs?

Or be reasonable and keep our current paradigm of arrest and punish only those who actually break the law?

Is not such thing as "free media" it has not been free since the conglomerated took over, is media for profits, pay and bought for, by those that are pushing personal agendas, the ones with the most money get to push the strings.

So do not tell what free media is, opinions are like butt holes everybody have one.

I agree with him.
I want to take it a step further though and move all political dissenters into centrally located communal groupings. You know, kind of concentrating them in several secure areas until we can devise some sort of solution to the problem.
What scares me is that I'm willing to bet there are a bunch of people who starred your post without having any inkling of the concept of being facetious.

It's funny you would mention "free press". You do know where this term originates don't you?

The 'free press' was an alternative to pro-left government bias in the media at the turn of the 18th century. It's ironic you would choose this term to debate regulation, by that same government, today.

Pot, meet kettle!

Free press is that thing where the press isn't controlled by the government. Just because you don't like who owns the Washington Post, and don't like what Washington Post prints, doesn't make it "not free press."

I'll take WaPo's opinions, however stupid they may be, over a government mouthpiece any day, thanks.
