I first found it on twitter here:

I did not want to run with it unless I could confirm with a domestic source, and well they did.

CNN
The US military has moved its High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) from Jordan into southern Syria for the first time, positioning it near the US-Coalition training base at At Tanf, three US defense officials confirmed to CNN Tuesday. HIMARS had been previously used to strike ISIS targets from firing positions in Turkey and Jordan. The system has also been deployed in Iraq to hit ISIS positions there.

"We have increased our combat power in that area," US Col. Ryan Dillon told reporters at the Pentagon earlier this month. "We have increased our presence and our footprint and prepared for any threat that is presented by the pro-regime forces," Dillon added.

Privately, US military officials say they are hopeful matters will remain calm and no more US military action will be required. And publicly, senior officials have insisted that the clashes with pro-regime fighters are purely in self-defense and that the US and the coalition will remain focused on battling ISIS.
"Those are self-defense strikes and the commander on the ground has the authority to take whatever action necessary and I support that," Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis told the Senate Armed Services Committee Tuesday.

The justification has been to battle ISIS. The problem is, they are no longer on the border with ISIS from that location as the Syrian forces routed them on at-Tanf's Eastern and North flank.

Al-Masdar
Due to a recent border offensive by the SAA, the US-led coalition no longer shares a frontline with ISIS in southern Syria which may in turn prompt American forces to retreat into Jordan.

US forces also deployed HIMARS in Turkey to back up Kurdish forces on the ground in Syria back in September.

So right now, we have a massive gathering of the following forces near at-Tanf:
Syria Army, Lebanese Hezbollah, Iranian militias approaching, under the watch of Russia.
USA sits inside at-Tanf with Jordan on the other side, Turkish backed US supported Free Syrian Army, Netherlands has Special forces there as well as British.

So anyone got any clue what they going to say when Damascus politely asks them for their land back as they have cut ISIS off from the area, and therefore foreign forces can no longer claim to be combating ISIS there??

We just attack, bomb and occupy nations at will.

We are literally a thug nation.

At this current point in time, our government and its allies are the #1 threat to world peace.

Contrary to what various media report there's no agreement for the stepping down of Assad. No agreement with NATO possible since NATO moved eastward from Germany since 1991.
All US bases outside US borders and NATO bases outside NATO 1991 borders are targeted. Ready for nuclear incineration in the unfortunate event of a careless "mistake"
