Does shooting down a drone count towards being an ace?

Recently a Syrian regime drone (according to reports it was predator sized) was shot down by an F-15E after dropping munitions on coalition forces. So my questing for you learned aviation types is this:

Does shooting down a drone (note this was not an Air to Air UCAV) count towards being a ace?

Does the size of the drone matters? Does it have to be air to air equipped?

Yes, yes, and no.

Almost any air to air kill counts, even if you drop a bomb on it (first, and prior to this, only confirmed Mud Hen kill).

Size matters, because if it's small enough to bring down with small arms (hand launched or smaller) then good luck even targeting the thing.

Air to air doesn't matter. Even if you shoot down a transport it counts towards your total.

...and if you destroy the munitions too, you should get extra credit...no?

V1,s that were shot down or tipped by allied pilots during WW2 counted as a kill.
