Anyone see that blue-ish flame in the middle? (lower levels) Would that be a gas pipe? looks like plasma.. weird.

The hottest fire is on the lower left. white hot.

depends on HOW the tower was designed if it would fall. when fire gets hot enough, it turns concrete into breakable lime, and it crumbles.

Hope everyone got out, but it looks dire.

I saw blueish/whitieh flames (at the tips) in the middle and the top of the building - like someone whacking on a bunsen burner quickly on and off.

It's horrible. I've read comments about families trapped and screaming inside. I was just watching on the news and you can clearly see a person jumping out and falling.

It's odd that the fire stared on 2nd to 3rd floor from the top and worked it's way down. Although the building is steel framed, it may indeed fall.

Some commenters at this Twitter feed are heartless.
twitter.com...

It's hard to believe that people with a public profile would spew such Muslim hate. They must have a death-wish.

Anonymity is the scourge of society unfortunately.

I could be biased however, the "kids in pyjamas" pulled pretty hard.

A resident interviewed by Sky News said the fire started on the 4th floor.

There's nothing I can see that hasn't been touched by fire.

It is truly unfortunate.

A caller to BBC 5 Radio before, Jody/Jodie reported that there were parts of the lower floors on the south side of the building not visibly in flames but shrouded in smoke.

A muslim on sky news said his muslim neighbor alerted him to get out because his "refrigerator exploded."

How lucky for muslims that this happened right before dawn when all the muslims were already awake, stuffing their faces so they can skip lunch for ramadan, while britons were still sleeping.

Do they make quick deploying parachute gliders? If so, they're a must-have for high-rise residents.

Irrelevant and hate-filled.

People have died here.

Was his fridge full of dynamite? Not too often a fridge 'explodes'.

Ah, I just heard that it's from the 2nd to the 27th floors. So the 1st floor is untouched.

Are there no fire retardation mechanisms in place? Insulation, sprinklers etc?

It begs the question doesn't it?

I guess we will find out during the inquest.

Am I the only one who finds this fire, in a building that is supposedly completely occupied by Muslim tenants, more than a little suspicious?

yeah, odd. the only thing that COULD 'explode' in a fridge is the compressor. and that usually doesn't cause fire. they usually overheat, and the fuse shuts it off. dunno..

sounds like a gas leak to me...
