Well...
I've watched 20 mins of CNN, and 20 mins of Fox News...
I think I can consider myself an expert on this subject now.

So I'm gonna call it.
No Russian collusion.

I think what has happened, is butthurt Democrats whose whole existence right now is about derailing President Trump, have gone full retard in regards to Russian interference of the election.
Which did happen.

But they've gone the whole hog and decided that wasn't enough so they need to implicate President Trump, somehow, someway.

Firing Comey!

Overall, we will probably never know why Comey was fired.
So far, we have a lot of conjecture about it...
But it could just as easily be Trump's ego coming into play.

Firing Mueller?

Don't think it will happen.
People close to President Trump seem to be trying to get his ear to tell him this would be a bad idea.
We shall see, though.

Sessions avoiding questions!

While a little tactless, not illegal.
And I think privacy is paramount in the free world...

So if he doesn't want to divulge specific conversations, so be it.
It may come back to bite him on the arse.

What is President Trump hiding?

Personally, I don't think he is hiding anything.
I think he is genuinely pissed at what seems to be a butt hurt Democrat witch hunt.

I'm not one to often defend President Trump, but on this case I have to.

I think where people see POTUS "hiding something" is just his absolute narcissism coming into play.
I don't think he likes being ganged up on, especially by a group he would consider "big time losers".

That's my 2 cents on this whole debacle.

Conclusion!

A gigantic waste of time, getting in the way of some real needed legislation.
At best, Russia found a couple of useful idiots in the administration.

Not something I'd equate with collusion or treason.

Peace.

After nearly a year and no evidence of collusion it is scandalous that the story has been propped up for political purposes.
There need to be some people held to account.

There are reports in Jonathan Allen & Amie Parnes book that this entire effort was planned in a "war room" meeting by Democrats immediately after they lost the election, led by Podesta and Mook. This has been a coordinated false narrative to fool the American people with a motive of overthrowing the Govt.

Also, I don't believe Russia hacked DNC. There is no history of Russia doing that. No votes were changed. No one was influenced.

Ok.

There is no history of Russia doing that.

Yes, yes there is.

No votes were changed.

No one has ever argued that they were.

No one was influenced.

What influenced that opinion?

You are right. There was no Russian collusion by the Trump campaign. The sad thing is that the intelligence community and Congress knew this months and months ago.

Comey sat on that info and while leaking other things, never let it come out definitively to the public that that narrative was absolutely false. Comey likes to call the shots and he overstepped his position many times. He likes to grandstand, as Trump described it. Darrell Issa even suggested that Comey may have fallen in love with the camera. I think he was fired for a multitude of reasons, and rightly so. He was not a good fit anyway.

There is Russian interference in our cyber system and that needs to be investigated and Trump has encouraged that. That is what Mueller needs to focus on for the most part. I don't think he will be fired because President Trump is also concerned about Russian interference in our cyber systems.

Jeff Sessions did a good enough job today considering how rude and obnoxious some of the Democrat Senators were to him. He set a few of them straight though. He stood firm about protecting his private conversations with President Trump. I was proud of him for that.

Trump is not hiding anything. Everything he says he is going to do, he generally does. IMO, he is not wrong very often. Sometimes it takes awhile for others to catch up. He's usually a few steps ahead.

Conclusion: Investigate and remedy Russia's interference in our cyber security systems.
Investigate and prosecute improper leaking.
Support our president's efforts to create jobs, make tax reforms, repeal and replace OC, improve our infrastructure, implement safeguards for security, solve the illegal immigration issue, and etc. etc.

Ahh yes but did you get your 40 mins of CNN & Fox News to become and expert like I did.

I doubt that you did, Wide-Eyes.

Your head is not just a hat-rack, after all.

The real scandal in this charade is that an unelected bureaucracy is investigating its political opponents for no good reason, save for political ones. The "Russia investigation" is a rhetorical inaccuracy used to dupe the credulous in order to disguise what it really is, an investigation of US citizens without probable cause.

Democrats love commies....heck, Bernie went on his honeymoon to then Soviet Russia...you had to go through a mountain of hoops to visit the USSR...

Maybe the democrats are mad the Russians failed so miserably at being communists...
Though, to be fair, communism and socialism is a failure in every example throughout history so it stands to reason...

And now, to my favorite meme of the 2016 election season..

Biggest waste of taxpayers money in recorded history.

Can't wait until some geek bean-counter crunches the actual numbers - bottomfeeders on both sides of the political aisle will be running for cover.

I hope this entire Russian circus show leads to jail time for certain provocateurs and other public servants who have bypassed the law in an attempt to achieve their sick agenda.

I think my main take away from all of this is the covert amalgamation of Russian interference & Russian collusion.
They took one, created another, and all of a sudden we have this sh*t show that is infesting ATS.

I'm pretty bored of it all to be honest.

Think I'll go and read about Area 51 for a bit.

I think either trump made a deal, because honestly it is a good deal if you think you won't get caught..

I mean common!! trading all your opponents staffs emails a couple weeks before the presidential election. In excange for dropping Russian sanctions and not interfering if Russia annexes Ukraine?!?!

I take that deal...

Or

Maybe Russia is setting him up, and him not knowing that. Allowed the meetings and such to provide the evidence he was in on it.

Even if trumps innocent it's still a counter intelligence win, as they got to just devastate the us political system discrediting American capitalism and democracy.

I blame the media for driving this to where it is today...I blame Congress for letting the tail wag the dog....
