My guess Coney actually has tapes of the dinner and conversation (since he is an fbi director who didn't want to meet alone with the president) and Sessions and Trump get caught lie in under oath.

Not of the dinner, but he may have been wired after that.

Under what circumstances does he have the legal right to do that?

Wouldn't that be espionage without a warrant?

My question is why would he need to leak anything. Being the director of the FBI he doesn't need to get any authority to investigate if he believes there is a crime that was committed. His leak was purely of the purpose to attack Trump in the media. Also to manipulate the system to gain an outcome he wanted, the special counsel, however if what he is saying is true couldn't he himself have owned his testimony in front of Congress to attain the same outcome? I do truly believe he wanted to hurt trump way before he was fired, everyone has taken sides...Even those who are supposed to remain impartial for the sake of justice.

You're correct. He didn't leak but you know Trump and language. He uses it as a weapon . Too bad his vocabulary is so lacking. Lol.
It's a way of manipulating the situation.

Has there been less leaks since they got rid of Comey?

No he "gave" his own property to a friend.
I already told you that in DC one person can record a conversation without the others knowledge as long as one knows and is part of the conversation.
Comey made a written record of what he and the president talked about AND made sure it didn't contain classified info. It's all above board.
It's not leaking but nice try.
Again.

BESIDES I thought Comeys testimony was all a big lie...I mean what's the difference who he gave memos to if the memos aren't real . If the whole conversation was something Comey just made up? What does it matter?
Can't have it both ways you know.
It can't be a leak if it's not true...

I'm not sure if he is the leaker, but I wouldn't doubt it. But a man who claims to care about the integrity of the FBI, its credibility, while refusing to dissipate the cloud of suspicion around the country's highest office, is as suspect as the entire Russian charade.

You'd jump to that conclusion like Evel Knievel over the grand canyon.
Doesn't matter how big a leap it is.

He is 100% without a doubt playing a political game with information he possessed at various times. He played down the Clinton investigation then refused to confirm that Trump was never under personal investigation. Those are pieces of information he played politically, and in both cases they were to aid one Party over another.

He is some romantic that thinks the FBI head is supposed to lord knowledge over our leaders heads to sway the direction of the country. He should be prosecuted and never hold a federal job again.

But don't ask yourself why he might not do that..
He said due to creating a need to correct.
If the situation had changed they would have had to announce the change.
Like they did with Clinton.
Would that have been better?

After trump was elected?
Better rethink that.
How would anything Comey did after the election help the other party?
Yeah that's what I thought ...

Trump was never under investigation, he allowed the other Party to play their fake story of Russia to undermine the Presidency for runoff elections and upcoming midterm elections. It is what the other Party is doing and his actions supported it.

Next fake criticism, your last one was hardly even a try.

Yeah.
He's also the man who's going to take trump down.

You don't mess with the IC community.
They have nine ways to Sunday to get you.
Remember Al Capone went to jail for tax evasion when they couldn't get him on murder.
Trump has a target on his back and they're going to keep on dogging him so he doesn't get anything done and goes down as the most ineffective president in the countries history.
Then they will publicly shame him.

He bought this.
He owns it.

If you believe the facebook posts from the extreme left then Comey stood up to the Gambino crime family (the posts compares it to Trump asking who you trust). Comey, from his own narrative, stood up to the Clinton crime family with his famous memo to congress.

And we are all okay with letting him tell us a 70 year old ball of dough overpowered him ("perhaps if i was stronger")? By the way, James Comey is 6'8".

Comey is no victim. Comey is a thug.

Good thing he didn't make that announcement huh.
Need to correct would mean they would be announcing he's under investigation now. Yes blew up in his face.

He is going to be lucky if he doesn't go to prison himself for breaking laws and NDA's with his leaking.

Your hatred for Trump does not justify an FBI chief abusing his powers, turning his non political office into a political war room.
