We all know that doctors use blood to save lives, but did you know that it can now be used to make you look younger… like a vampire? There’s this new procedure that it is utilizing a patient’s own blood to produce a mixture that stimulates collagen production, which results in fresh young looking skin

We’re only talking about a small amount,” says Dr. Andre Berger, Medical Director of the Rejuvalife Vitality Institute, one of the few facilities that offers the blood therapy (also called “Dracula Therapy”)

I cannot and do agree with you, although I am open minded to the theory of blood transfusions from the young rejuvenating the old.
I never interpreted the rejuvenating affect of the young blood as being something that would be outwardly noticeable like a fountain of youth, I took it more as something that would help maintain or slow ones own cellular decay.

I'm not sure what the issue is, people sell their blood/plasma all the time, you can get about 50 dollars per visit.

People make money from their bodies legally all the time, plasm, hair, eggs, surrogates, breast milk, sperm and plenty of others.

but not sex? Why is that taboo?

For the same reason you can't sell one of your kidneys or farm your liver every time it grows back 1/3 of itself.

to me it just shows that the old sayings, a fool and his money are soon parted is true, or, some people have more money than sense.

i mean if there was any real basis for young blood having a rejuvenating effect in humans, it would have been seen a long time ago in the hospitals and other medical fields. they have only been doing blood transfusions for 200 plus years.

There have actually been quite a few studies on this topic, usually with an eye to reversing or slowing down Alzheimer's. In mice at least, an infusion of blood from the young improves the cognitive function of the older brains, so that old mice engineered to get dementia behave like the younger mice. I'd be surprised that it hasn't been investigated further...if it weren't that Big Pharma is so invested in the (failed) amyloid-plaque-causes-Alzheimer's dogma. That's the only reason we haven't heard more about this. The studies are out there, and they're fascinating. Here's just one example.

A guy was arrested in Boston last month. He'd actually been buying blood on a 'no questions' basis from all-comers at $30 a pop. He said he was working for a company called BostonBioSource whose website, by sheer coincidence, has been under maintenance since he said it. You can imagine who sells blood on the streets? Yup, local addicts.

These wealthy people should have a long chain of evidence to know exactly who and where their boosts are coming from. Dental records, medical notes and their fastest track times would be a start lol

Police arrest man they say was buying blood from people at vacant D.C. apartment

Ya that is so stupid. This modern society is saturated with sex in ads and movies and the music industry, porn is readily available -but when it comes to consenting adults making an arrangement for selling and purchasing sex,it seems to be a problem.Bizarre.

I agree but the Blood Banks have always turned a profit from the donated blood. Now that it appears there are players really making a buck, sadly it will discourage blood donors and quite possibly cause shortages in emergency situations. If I remember right, you must be at least 17 in order to donate blood and weigh a certain amount, the only requirements I am aware of and I am still not sure if your age is recorded in association with the pint of blood you donated so just not sure if they actually know who donated it, and if there is even a difference between my blood and that of a teen, I wouldn't think so, so I see this as a giant rip off.

I said above and I guess people missed the point.

You can't for the same reason. People consider it exploitative.

People could exploit the damaged for sex or the ones who are desperate could exploit the system to make a buck and others could be hurt by it.

Agree with it or not, that's generally the reason why you can't sell your body or certain products from it.

ATS: Jan. 2017 - For $8,000 This Startup Will Fill Your Veins With The Blood Of Young People.

May 2014 - 'Vampire therapy' could reverse ageing, scientists find.

Oct. 2012 - Transfusions of Young Blood Appear to Rejuvenate the Elderly

Favorite: May 2014 - Celebrity vampirism/ time travel.

Young blood. Somebody has known about it for a while it seems besides Mr. Burns!

The thought on one of the posted threads is of missing and exploited children. Kind of like the book, Coma, where donor bodies are hanging around--there are milk cows for the elite. Not ready to jump that far but hey, it is ATS after all.
