There actually is Sharia law in this country on local levels. You really need to read more about these little private courts around the country in some of the Muslim neighborhoods, there are some scattered articles about them. But US law supersedes the Sharia law, but not if the Muslims are taking care of their problems on their own and our law enforcement does not hear about it. I do not know how popular these areas are, the articles I read just talked about groups of them in about five or six cities. I am guessing there are many more, but who knows.

The people protesting can do and say anything they want. They are protected by the 1st amendment and there is no hate speech. They disagree with Sharia law. It is their right to protest and if Sharia as in place they could not. Think about that.

What I find funny are the people protesting against them. If you do, it would mean you agree with Sharia law. The LGBT joining an anti-Sharia protest is as ignorant as the white girl who protests with BLM.

Are the counter-protesters protesting FOR Sharia Law?

If their families made the decision for them based on their choice to live by sharia law, then that's even worse, and also a perfect example of the disturbing morbidity inherent to islamic culture.

Just last month Minnesota legislators stopped a law that would make islamic female fenital mutilation illegal.

And of course muslim Somali community leaders led the charge.

There is no outrage from me on that issue, because circumcision neither mutilates the penis nor does it prevent men from experiencing sexual pleasure. It's also not inhumane.

To call what that muslim doctor did 'female circumcision' is actually a misnomer, for it is not remotely similar to male circumcision. People who prefer to use the term 'female circumcision' do so because they are either uninformed on the procedure, or they are trying to validate genital mutilation by comparing it to something that everyone knows is humane, like circumcision.

I'm just going to assume you are unfamiliar with the procedure, otherwise how else could you possibly be this ignorant to compare it to male circumcision.

As long as those people are not violent they have a right to protest - stupid or not.
Antifa do not have a right to violently try to shut them down.

So causing a baby extreme pain from cutting a piece of their genitals off is humane? How and why? What about the priests who suck the blood off of a fresh circumcision, is that proof Judaism is trying to take over?

But again, how is that a case of Sharia Law? Is Judaic Law trying to take over our country because circumcision is legal and happens regularly?

How? A baby has no say in whether it happens, in my opinion it is inhumane to cause pain to someone if they did not agree to it first.

You would need to literally cut the entire tip of the penis off to remove sensation for an equivalency and are their any health arguments for FGM?
