This is common for anyone, whether someone is in the political spot light or not. If there's enough scandal involved, and there's a demand by the public to get juicy details, multi-million dollar book deals are always waiting in the wings. Trump created all the interest in Comey when he fired him! Publishers simply jumped on it. Comey would be stupid if he didn't take advantage of it.

Tell all books have been around for a long time.

I think i pass. If i'm in the mood of reading about Comeys colossal failures and cowardness i stick to the transcripts of his hilarious testimonies. Years later this boring book is going to spawn a boring hallmark movie with the title "Inspector Comey and the mystery of the grandfather clock!" Starring Alec Baldwin and Kathy Griffin as his retarded companion.
