So, in an ironic twist, Luke started flying again today, and Yuma is now grounded. Not for an oxygen system, but because of the new ALIS 2.0.2
software. The software was installed on the A and C model in April, but was just installed on the Bs. There are some software anomalies with the
aircraft at Yuma, so they're grounding until they resolve them.
The JPO announced changes to be made to the OBOGS system on the F-35. They're going to alter the algorithm that measures the oxygen concentration. It
will be changed to alter oxygen levels at different altitudes in flight.
Since resuming flights, there was one hypoxia like event on an aircraft out of Luke. It was traced to a bad valve in the system.
