He orchestrated the leak of his own information.

Comey is a tool.

I think that the whole affair was a media political manufactured agenda with lots of money behind the scenes to bring down the Trump administration on nothing but speculations.

How bad our political elite system has become.

Mr. Blunt wonders, too, why in the hell Comey didn't just tell everybody that Trump wasn't under investigation! (Makes me wonder what Comey was really up to. Was he trying to hold on to something to threaten with?)

Wow! Blunt has him against the ropes about giving the memos to a friend after being fired!

It fits the definition.

He shared memo to prompt special council?

Why was that necessary?

Why won't Comey name his "friend" whom gave it to the press for him?

I have been listening but could not get to ATS until now, so not caught up on yet on this thread.

I think Comey is coming across as a very bitter man.
He just proved this when he said that he purposely gave his selected memo to a "friend".
It seemed like a deliberate action to get revenge on Trump for firing him.

His reasoning why he thought it was ok to give the memo to the friend make it seem like he is the kind of person who would "leak" if he felt justified.
I wonder what else he leaked?

Is there a reason he would be acting so cowardly? He knows the world is going to be watching and analyzing his every word/move.

Is it human nature to get back at someone for firing you...especially if unjust?

Perhaps he kept it secret bc he did not want to get fired, then he was fired anyway so he was just like...fuk it...im leaking sh#t

Not that I would do this or that this is how it is done in the whitehouse, just basic human nature

" I "think" the President "felt".

Actually, I think this is a good sign. It points out that IF he had anything on Trump, he'd have used it.

If he's down to believing what Trump thought-name me anyone who has been able to do that- then he's grasping for straws as much as the left is.

More good news....

Depends on where your priorities lie. In this case it was political.
