Sounds a lot like the US. We never get good choices, just lies and rhetoric.

At least your country had the option to vote to shake things up and took it - we don;t have that option this time.
At least we had the BREXIT referendum, I suppose.

And lazy students who won't make it to the polls

The Bookies odds are moving rapidly as reports of high youth turnout are coming in. Constituencies which were 20-1 have gone down to 8-1 in a matter of hours.

This high youth turnout will favour Labour more than other parties.

Just realised.. FOX News has been switched off UK television today with a message that it is restricted due to the election... CNN has not.

How odd.

I can only hope for the best for you guys.......good luck! I hope for your sakes Brexit holds or you will be over run like France and Germany have been. And you'll have some unaccountable, faceless Bureacrat in Brussels dictating the temperature of your tea and your thermostat settings in winter.

I voted and last time there were like 12 options.

This time there was 4.

One of them was the Yorkshire Party and i've never heard of them until now.

I went to vote, and had 7 options to choose from.

I put an x against every one of them.

I love free will .

To be fair, this was always the way I looked at the Brexit issue.

My ideal state of affairs would have been to go for Brexit, and immediately divorce all right wingers from making any choices about any of the methods or the shape of the exit from the EU what so ever. In short, exit from the EU, managed by socialist principles, not corporatist or borderline fascist ones.

Things are not looking particularly positive at the moment, but I took my shot, and I have to be happy with that, even if the people end up having to go to war with their own government, just to get their rights from them later.

Just got back from voting. 7 options - all a shower of C****.
Chose my poison.

The polling station was very busy, much much busier than for Brexit - same time of day. Don't know if that means anything.

No, never seen that before, but I can;t say I would have definitely noticed. The only reason I did today is that I was tuning in to find a station to watch the Comey hearing.

Is there some kind of law about what you can watch on election day?

I don;t think so.. the message on screen says something about reporting restrictions.
CNN, RT, Al Jazeera.. all others are still on.

Based on their own polls they intentionally manipulated.

I think the tories are going to win.

Which frankly seems the better of the two outcomes, Theresa May might be Emperor Palpatine but at least she doesn't come with a party full of blairites and useful idiot "progressives."
edit on -050008am6kam by Ohanka because: (no reason given)
