I really really doubt that.
See my post about the exit polls vs the actual votes cast.

just a interesting factoid I was just reading.

Apparently in the last 25 years since opinion polls were refined the polls have never been off by more than 15 seats for the winning party.

From that we can extrapolate that either way its going to be a pretty dire night for the conservatives if at best they can expect 330 and at worse 300.

Apparently 25% of the vote was cast by post, which will affect the polls. The pollsters are using past performance to account for postal ballots in this election.

Ooooo... that is an interesting little tidbit of info !

That gives the possibility of a huge upset...

Apparently the Democratic Unionist Party has said that they would help the Conservatives to achieve a majority if necessary.

You're right - still very unclear and this may be a long night...

...it looks like Labour might be winning Hastings seat - which is held by the Home Secretary!

I wonder if the polls could be changed by a increased turnout from young people

One of the analysts was saying that there is an increase in the turn out across the board. Everywhere, but this surge is said to be younger voters.

Beginning to think the Exit Pollsters are going to be embarrassed again.

They are usually on point, like i posted before, they have only been out by 15 seats at the most in the last 25 years since this new system came into use so it is pretty reliable.
