In all honesty if I was given the choice between getting shot, exploded or run over.

I'd take getting shot every time, just seems cleaner, less painful and less messy than the other 2.

Its worth pointing out, that in the most recent attack, a British Transport Police officer, armed only with a baton, took on the three attackers, and although seriously injured with a knife, survives to this day. An off duty police officer who also had at the cretins, also survived his injuries. Armed police then arrived and terminated the suspects. It is without any doubt what so ever, that the actions of the BTP officer and the off duty policeman, saved lives.

They engaged those targets without significant arms of their own, and lived. They are hard men, and heroes for putting themselves on the line in that fashion, and should be recognised nationally and around the world for their courage and noble purpose.

Yes, that guy had a set of brass ones on him. But it's also important to note, that it took a gun to stop them, and all they had were knifes.

There isn't any appreciable amount of heroin produced in the USA.
Heroin is illegal.You can't even write a prescription for it if you are a doctor.
Heroin is smuggled in in vast amounts.
It is easier to get than trying to buy a gun legally.
What makes you think that a gun can't be smuggled over a border just as easily as heroin?
That is discounting the fact that you don't have to grow poppies in large fields to make a gun. You can build them in a workshop. Ted Kazinski (The Unabomber) made one in his shed in the boonies.

It is all so simple... just write a law.

Why don't you Aussies mind your own business when it comes to US citizens and their rights?
