Too right, it's gonna be a lot more peddling. Also concerned about Saudi cocking things up with little will to fight from their forces, Iran swamping them with numbers, then Israel deciding an Iranian controlled Arabia is too much and Dolphins shoot up nukes at Iran.

Anythings possible with those guys over there. Countless billions in weapons on both sides along with the nukes Israel has.

Remember listening to that Caspar Weinberger boke a year or so ago saying exacly that................ Too much weaponry in too small an area with a religious faultline or four to avoid a major conflict at some time or other. The other one born in Germany actually said it who must be about 150 years old now, can't rember his name

Qatar is begging for mercy.

Did he just say they were a 'progressive' state? - hmm - that is an admission of supporting terrorists.

It's progressive in the traditional sense (not the stupid modern western sense) in relation to it's neighbors at least.

weather you see this as fake news planted by russia, or real news that someone is trying to get us to believe is fake...
both views seem to lead down to a dark place.
trump's response to the actual event tends only to diminish his credibility, the US's credibility around the world, so whichever view you wish to take, it seems that the person pulling the strings got what they want.
his tweets make it sound like he is taking the credit for this which is probably making qatar wonder weather they can count on any of those troops that they've let set up shop in their country if push comes to shove. this should even make saudi arabia wonder about the wisdom of letting the few american troops they have in their country be there!

Apparently Turkey is siding with Qatar. Reports are that Erdogan is fast-tracking a bill to allow him to deploy Turkish troops to Qatar to help defend against any possible attacks.

Don't even try to claim the qatar pipeline was the reason for a war. 1st this pipeline was only discussed with one country that being Turkey. Turkey was looking for a natural gas supply. Turkey wanted to be the energy crossroads for Europe. But here's the reality it’s simply not profitable for Qatar to lay a pipeline to Europe via Syria. "Any projects to deliver Qatari gas to Europe by land will economically lose out to shipments of liquefied gas by sea.

And finally the biggest obstacle was not Syria but Saudi Arabia there is no way they would allow qatar to run a pipeline over there territory. Without Saudi permission this project was going no where. The pipeline myth is just the everything us about oil crowd. No not every conflict is about oil and yes countries do start petty arguments over the dumbest things.

This is a great analysis. All these little conspiracy theories have very simple holes in them. Another one is that it makes no sense to spend trillions of dollars on wars, disrupting the economy, and waiting 15-20 years for it to all pan out so you could build your pipeline, when you could have just shipped everything through the Gulf and around Africa and been making a fortune the last 15-20 years. Half the people who are supposed to benefit from this scheme will be dead by the time that pipeline gets built, if it ever does.

It's already signed, sealed, and delivered. Qatar has a few tricks up its sleeve and is invested in foreign markets.

This will be interesting to see.

Agreed.
The pipeline theory of the wars just doesn't make sense.

So if turkey send troops to Qatar and helps defend USA base in Qatar, will Iran help defend USA base in Qatar? Iran USA allies? They have been allies in the past and usa did delivery a lovely high tech drone to them to reverse engineer. Russia has never given Iran everything it can. Always held them at bay.
Then you got Iraq which Usa basically carved up and handed half of Iraq into Iran hands.
Usa and the west is not stupid.
They plan everything.
I think the west has set all this up to establish a Saudia Arabia vs Iran war.
As if Saudia Arabia would do a half arse attack on Tehran. Sounds like false flag attack on Tehran to build Iran hated for Saudia Arabia because you really need to brew the hate before you step into a major war. Hate is the fuel of war.

It's all about taking down Iran. The US is making deals with the devil because it wants the current version of Iran gone.

Global politics never ceases to amaze. World leaders never cease to amaze me with their ridiculous rhetoric as well. For instance; this buffoon tweeted earlier today:

and...

Trump must of forgot that America's strongest ally in the region—Saudi Arabia—is one of the biggest sponsors of terrorism and terrorist political ideologies—Wahhabism.

Trump must also be in the dark concerning the Pentagon's role in nurturing terrorism for its own geopolitical narrative. The rumours must be true: the clown does not read.

In fact, his tweets were so irresponsible this morning that when Senate Foreign Relations Chair Bob Corker was told by the press of what Trump tweeted about America's other strong ally in the region, Qatar— he remained in stunned silence for about 8 seconds.

www.mediaite.com...

Trump must of forgot that the US has one of its biggest army bases stationed in Qatar which host 10, 000 troops.

Btw, Qatar has sent its highest delegation to turkey and in return Turkey has sent its military to Qatar...

These manoeuvres have nothing to do with war on terror and everything to do with hegemonic agendas.

I agree with this narrative. Pakistan is key player in this game we must not forget about. It remains committed to IMAFT and destroying the current path Iran is on. Iran, Russia and Syria are the only nations at the moment actually doing something to eradicate terrorism from the world.

ETA: IMAFT is a ruse.

While I agree those tweets weren't wise, you're not under the impression it somehow jeopardized our base in Qatar are you?
