Ohh yeah and the people of Britain need sympathy that's whats going to stop this from happening in the future...I'm also guessing you think holding candle light vigils, prayers and changing your facebook profile picture to the picture of the Union Jack is going to stop this from happening again too.

In what way was he being a "jackass" with what he did, you seem to be more concerned about people holding hands and praying then you are about actually combating this from happening again where even more innocent lives could be taken.

Let's hate on Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism... Just pick one. (hell, let's hate on the Sikhs while we're at it).

There are a very few things in the world that are truly worthy of hate -- certainly Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Sikhism are not among them.

But a death cult that over and over again in it's death manual/"holy" book commands its adherents to savagely slaughter the unrepentant "infidels" by "striking at their necks" [Q'uran Surah 47: 4] or hacking off their heads [Q'uran Sura 8: 12], considers women subservient to men and worthy of the "scourge" (whip) if they disobey [Q'uran Sura 4: 3], sexually mutilates little girls, tosses gays off buildings, burns people alive, flies planes into buildings, and blows up little girls at music concerts, is worthy of every ounce of hate that can be brought to bear and so marginalized that it ceases to poison future generations.

Send the gift of MOAB to the cube. That and only that, will make them realize that we are done!

Why don't you just take the other wingnut bigots and go to Storm Front? You'll be welcomed, they're your kind of people.

EDIT:

Also, blowing up holy sites? Really? Are we ISIS now? What is it with you clowns? Let me guess. You're a fundie and you WANT a holy war?

They started it.

If only they kept religion out of it....then it wouldn't be a holy war.

It would be just some countries fed up with their BS and decided to wipe them out.

No religion needed.

Well, without reading the link and going off what he said in response to what Khan said, uh yeah, he kinda is.

Instead of offering condolences, he shot his mouth off and made an arrogant fool of himself. Doesn't matter what he thinks, being a dick because he doesn't agree with the mayor's comments on the police (don't be alarmed or whatever it was) isn't the way to act. That's just being an asshole for the sake of being an asshole.

And we wonder why we as a country get no "respect" from abroad?

Typical Leftist response.
We get no respect in the world because we have not been tough enough on exterminating the radical Islamic cockroaches that have infested the civilized world.

Libertarian, actually, but thanks for offering more proof that the hard rightwingers can't see 2 inches beyond their own hyperbole.

Libertarian....whatever.....these days it's hard to tell you guys apart from the deranged Left.
I am pro-innocent people not getting killed by radical cockroaches.
You are pro-bury your head in the sand and maybe the problem will go away by itself.
Trump spoke the truth about what Khan said....there is very good reason to be alarmed...that is why their terror watch level is approaching the apocalyptic stage.
Every radical Jihadi that they keep letting have a Twitter account, says "be warned...more attacks are coming".
Enough is enough.

From the Mayor's perspective, you just had a terrorist attack in your city. The POTUS goes on line, scolds YOU, Criticizes YOU, and takes what you said out of context, to make himself try to looker wiser and more competent. Pathetic.

I know what condolence means.

That's why what he tweeted wasn't one, as I said.

ETA:

There was no sympathy in that tweet.

Obviously: You Don't Know.

Go back and reread the definition, one of the synonyms is "support"

That's exactly what he offered in his tweet.

I swear....the hate for Trump makes people so BLIND and so full of Bile that you can't think rationally, and would even scream that the sky was green instead of blue if you thought it would make Trump look bad.

And they called the Right "deplorable" ?

Well they did!! lol.

They bring the religion into the fight.

It's not a holy war that we want. Just good old fashioned secular beat downs with extreme prejudice.

So you really think that there is no reason to be alarmed living in London or in the U.K. as a whole?
What's it been?....3 major attacks in 3 months?
And the radical cockroaches on Twitter warning about more? That is not something to be alarmed about?
Nooooo nothing to be worried about at all....just keep worrying about what Trump says to deflect from the real issue.

If anybody else had said it, like IDK, any given celebrity, people would be up in arms about how they'd said it to try to stay "relevant" & what an insensitive disgrace it was to say in the first place.

Just food for thought.

No, sympathy is about the people who were affected. Are you that dense?

Maybe you should stop guessing. It's not your strong point. When did I ever mention candlelight vigils, holding hands, or changing pics for any reason?

Your comment is irrelevant and bordering on ad hominem.

In what way was he being a "jackass" with what he did

Already addressed in this thread. Keep up.

I think it's an opinion piece, so there's that.

Also, did anyone catch the weird undertones? After the leaks from the Manchester Police to an American paper... did he really offer support like nothing happened at all?
And now he dared to use this attack for his covfefe of fcking politics, with the bodies of the vicitms still warm? Which somehow seems to be cool, but the reactions to all that are ...err... worth an outrage by design?

Holy crap, can we please move this to the mud pit for a slightly more blunt approach? I think that would be good for the kids.

But that's not what the Mayor was saying. He was telling them not to be alarmed by the huge and stepped up police presence. He was afraid with cops everywhere they might panic thinking the other shoe was about to drop.

So you see how Trump took it out of context? Does that make him a lame-brain who can 't comprehend a simple statement, or something else?

So you think they need sympathy over a pledge to help them in any way whatsoever and i'm the dense one oh and as other posters have already mentioned he did offer condolences by saying we stand with the British people but clearly you are too dense to understand that, the British people as a whole were affected, over 30 families lives have been drastically changed forever.

You're correct that you never mentioned those things but you come off as a person who fully believes that is whats going to help stop these things from happening since they are all forms of sympathy since you are so concerned about that over stopping something like this from happening in the future. Keep living in your safe space pumpkin.

I swear...some people's "Trump can do wrong" and "liberals are the bane of my existence" is so full of bile that they can't think rationally without screaming about how bad liberals are when they criticize anything trump or against their beliefs.

Why should anyone be alarmed by an increased armed police presence given what they have had to deal with the last few months.
They should welcome it....because just walking down the street in London could possibly be a death sentence from a truck jumping the curb.
It's mind numbing how you guys worry about insignificant things like Trump's wording in a Tweet when the issue he is Tweeting about is the only real issue.
Instead of being outraged over what Trump says, how about more outrage towards the killers of innocent people?

How come, the guy was talking about Trump, who obviously isn't what America is supposed to be about, and my guess is that he is not what most Americans are about.
