Is it like a vocoder?

My curiosity is piqued, because as far as I know to this date it is impossible to completely alter your voice in real time.

You can distort, obfuscate, compress, all you want in real time but the length of your words and way you articulate and enunciate your speech will be preserved as a superimposed artifact beneath all the distortion.

Why go to the trouble of changing your voice when you could simply have someone else make the phone call for you while you listen in?

Did she call this attorney from her real phone number? Highly doubtful.

Surely she isn't going this route all on her own. We must consider that the technology is being facilitated to her from someone in the intelligence community.

I believe she's getting help from Obama and or Hillary.

I would think the majority of people become suspicious when someone altering their voice calls. It's not going to be normal business or probably honest.

The stupid criminals always get caught, especially when they think they are smarter than everybody else, in other words they are delusional, like the "Brian" from Pinky and the Brian cartoon.

I have used various types of "spy gear" in the past. I checked the store I usually go to first and they had a selection of voice changers at very reasonable prices. There was one for $125 that had 14 settings and some tweaking ability. Some of the settings sound like the very distorted type of voice that would be used in an interview where the person wanted to remain anonymous. However, there were other settings that sounded realistic.

The idea of dws or the dnc doing this is not surprising at all. At least not to me but then I would compare their moral compass to one of those wind spinners on a kids handlebars. It points everywhere all the time.
