So Trump puts Pittsburg's citizens before Paris' citizens, and the idiot mayor decides to respond by essentially putting Paris' citizens before his own?

Lol.

Liberals.

Way to not understand the issues and use name calling!

The issue is the US working on the world stage as an example. Instead Trump wants to isolate the US the on the world stage because "businesses". Rofl can he be any more transparent as a corporate stooge?

At least he is not a global corporate stooge, he is an America first corporate stooge.

And??

Being against the Paris agreement doesn't mean you're against clean energy.
Just like supporting a pipeline in Dakota doesn't mean your anti Native American.

Just watching cnn's response and the responses of their interviewees and I can see a renewed vigour to forge ahead and become work leaders in the clean energy sector.

So President Trump's actions are making America great again after all.

Only the POTUS can negotiate treaties with foreign countries, then they need to be ratified by the Senate to be binding.

Obama didn't, this dumbdem is not following a legal treaty by Obama and neither can he claim anything about Hillary, she lost and has no say in anything.

First off Peduto has no jurisdiction over the top ten polluters in Allegheny County. Secondly ALCOSAN.

Allegheny County Sanitary Authority (also known as ALCOSAN) is a Municipal Authority in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania that provides wastewater treatment services to 83 communities, including the city of Pittsburgh.

This is nothing more than grandstanding over an issue he can't possibly affect single handedly. City Council is more ineffective than the three physicists trying to change a lightbulb.

Plus lets ignore both Allegheny County and Philly already have wildly divergent DEP regulations stricter than the rest of the state. As a city mayor he can't exactly make the state legislature do squat.

This is such a joke I can't believe it! He's just positioning himself for another election cycle.

I think it is YOU that doesn't understand the issues.

Normal people want America and Americans to come first. "Working on the world stage" is WAY down the list of what people care about.

Well, if the city of Pittsburgh wants to follow the pollution guidelines set out by the Paris Agreement, they can. They can tax their businesses to get extra money and tighten up CO2 emissions, that will make the businesses possibly move to another town or state, but the mayor and a few people there will not mind losing those jobs.

Just because we do not follow the Paris plan, doesn't mean we can't create our own plans. Look at this article. www.alleghenyfront.org... Pittsburgh does need to clean up it's act. So do many cities. They can petition the states to require some states and have their congressmen introduce legislation to help lower emissions somewhat.

The Paris Agreement is a joke, a way of a select group of individuals to collect money that they can spend to support their high paying jobs they created for themselves. The salary for anyone working overseeing this Paris deal should be mediocre and rules to getting money from special interest groups for bribes should be made and a committee to oversee this bribing should be made.

Let's face it brother! It's time to raise the curtain on political parties! The world only has TWO! Those who believe in sovereignty versus those who believe in globalism!

What disturbs me the most, are those who support globalism are the one's AGAINST the 1%, yet they are supporting everything their so called enemy is promoting?

It might be time to rein in the union again. I don't think States can make agreements with foreign governments in conflict with federal policy

As an example of what? Have you been to the US, cause you sure dont sound like a resident. Shall we hold up Chicago for all the world to see .... or maybe Detroit or LA?
Shall we put on display our failed education system and all the dimwits they churn out?

We have citizen against citizen battling everyday. nonstop protests about almost anything... and the list goes on and on...... and you get on here saying we should be some example... The only example we should be and have any right to be setting...... is on the virtues of minding our own business

Regardless of what EVER the Mayor of Pittsburgh stated after Trump made that comment, Trumps statement holds water. Trump is and will represent every city in the US regardless of their voting record, over foreign places. That fact in itself makes the mayors comeback pithy and worthless. Trump loves the US.

Let see how his voters will react when he tries to raise fund from tax payers in his city to pay the foreign countries scam green fund.

I bet you that is nothing but political talk, stupidity and agenda.

He will do nothing at all but spew more crap maybe if he keep spewing crap that will be enough to paid the green fund.

States forget sometimes that without federal funding for disasters their cities will and their citizens will no be able to recuperate.

Stupid, politician.

Maybe he is crying because he has invested in green bonds and now they will lose money now that the tax payer in the US will not be backing up the global bank.
