Twin Peaks is a freak show. I've watch the first 2 episodes of the redo and I have no idea what's going on. But it's really cool visuals. At the end of the second episode this song was featured as the credits were rolling:

It's not a "redo" it's a continuation of the story from the first two seasons and the movie Fire Walk With Me.

To attempt to explain all the everything would take more time than I have right now but it's safe to say if you want to get up to speed then you should really watch the earlier stuff.

Then be confused about the new stuff along with the rest of us.

Good luck.

I like the use of the music this time around.

I did watch the earlier stuff. I'm still just as confused. I may figure it out someday.

The only thing I'm not liking so far is that each ep ends with a musical number.

I thought it was nice for the first ending; it's a throwback to the pilot.

It's just annoying seeing it at the end of each part

I'll stick to the Roy Orbison thanks!

I just started the original series yesterday, and so far so good. The first two seasons are on Netflix.

Musicman amp alert, Leo Fender's tube crushing last amp design.
Both revered, and hated. Stupid clean, prone to cascading meltdown if the
phase inverter AX tube fails. Distorted signal tends toward a harsh square waveform,
but done right, with buckers or pedals, it is uniquely powerful, and breaks up like a thunderclap.
