It doesn't matter how you feel about Hillary....She's absolutely right Trump is the most divisive and dangerous president in the history of America.

The hate crimes on all sides have gone up since Trump hit the scene. The bigots feel empowered and emboldened

lets not forget calling for the assassination of Trump on social media by the left

In the 12 days since Donald Trump took the oath of office, a steady stream of social media posts have called for the new president's assassination. The posts are pretty basic and many are jokes or sarcastic or hyperbolic — but there are a lot of them. In a Dataminr search of Twitter posts since Inauguration Day containing the phrase "assassinate Trump" more than 12,000 tweets came up

Not this kind of division. Obama may have inflamed racists who hated a black president but Trump divides people on direct divisive statements.

On both sides of the aisle people are inflamed by Trumps antics

Obama did no such inflaming compared to Trump

The campaign language of the man who would become president sparks hate violence, bullying, before and after the election

In August 2015, two Boston men returning home late after a Red Sox game happened upon a homeless Mexican immigrant sleeping outside a commuter rail station. They beat him with a metal pipe, punched him repeatedly, urinated on him and called him a “wetback.” Then they high-fived each other as they walked away, leaving Guillermo Rodriguez with broken ribs and fingers and other injuries.

When they were arrested a short time later, one of them, 38-year-old Scott Leader, told arresting officers, “Donald Trump was right. All these illegals need to be deported.” Later, but long before they were sentenced to terms of two and three years, they whined that authorities only arrested whites, “never the minorities.”
To these men, Donald Trump was a hero — and an inspiration.

Trump’s election has created “safe spaces” for racists: Southern Poverty Law Center’s Heidi Beirich on the wave of hate crimes

There's a big spike in hate crimes, says the director of SPLC's Intelligence Project — and “Trump is the cause”

The Divisive rhetoric of Trump is killing people.

Sorry, Trump and people like you are the problem.
"anyone who doesn't like Trump is a racist"

Democrats and the media are dividing us. "My son would be like Trayvon Martin" ... killed by a white man .. except the kid was thuggish and killed by a hispanic. Media and Dems dividing us then, and now.

They have full on hate filled riots.

Trump unmasked hate by making it easier for bigots to be loud and proud of their version of the truth.

It was an eye opener for me to know how much animus against the other that was bottled up. And for that awakening, I'm grateful for Trump's spittle-spewing bluster.

Do you have a source for an increase in hate?

...we have seen since the latter parts of the Obama administration an incredible rise in the frequency of attacks like this, hate crime attacks and domestic terrorism attacks. And the targets of those hate crimes have tended to be those populations demonized by the Trump campaign and now Trump administration.

And, you know, we tracked almost 900 hate and bias incidents between the election and 10 days later. Those are numbers that are quite extraordinary for such a short period of time.

I think you replied to the wrong thread. My post wasn't about Obama. But here's some additional context for my post that you responded to:

“The Trump effect” is full of negative connotations and it’s twofold. On one hand, it has given permission to white supremacists and Neo-Nazi groups to express their biases and prejudices. And on the other hand, it has created a lot of fear and anxiety among children...

...suddenly came Donald Trump on June 16, 2015, and he has emboldened all those groups and he has allowed all those prejudices to come and be expressed under the excuse that they were politically incorrect.

That pain in the pantsuit is less than significant in any sense. She is still just bitter after losing an election she tried to rig in the first place.

For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Tit for tat. So what do Hillary and the left hate?

America being rich and successful.
Americans being safe from Muslim extremists.
Americans deciding who we WANT as immigrants.
Anyone successful because they then don't need her idea of government.
Responsible Americans with guns.
Americans who realize health insurance and medical attention is a business we pay for.
People who form their own opinions of politics, religion, morals, etc.
The American family.
People who accept personal responsibility for their actions and mistakes.
Business owners.
Americans who think we should fix our problems first...before helping others.
People who believe crime is criminal.
People who think they are "Parents" instead of allowing the "ruling class" to educate, or indoctrinate their children.
People who don't understand they are luck livestock to have such awesome rulers as the progressive left.
Anyone who DARES to speak their mind.
Those nasty Russians that have done no worse than the liberal American government of the past 8 years have done.
Money...for anyone but them.
Etc.

I for one am in full control of myself. I am an adult and can decide my life for myself. I help teach my children that they live in America and therefore, can determine their own destiny. I also teach them that they are responsible for their mistakes and their own support. We live in a society designed to help the poor but support the successful who in turn employ the poor and middle class. Yes...the hard workers...the smart people...sometimes the lucky people may have more than others. But the others still have a support net paid for by the successful. That doesn't mean we will ever all be equal economically. That is YOUR choice. Maybe you can't...maybe you don't. THAT IS YOUR FREEDOM!

Choose wisely. Never choose a Clinton, Pelosi, or Obama. You will destroy the ONLY system that has always succeeded. If you wish to see what liberal rule looks like...travel. And try not to puke or cry at your discovery.

PS: When Hillary Clinton dies...I will be throwing a huge party. We will toast one less challenge and sing "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead" from the roof tops.

Opinion piece. I told you the facts. These problems were around long before Trump and the divide became severe under Obama.

This is correct. Once again the left blame-shifts and shirks responsibility. Trump supporters have been under attack since day one, and with the help of liberal loony Hollywood you can't watch a late night talk show or any entertainment industry awards show without being berated, mocked and ridiculed for having a different point of view. I've seen liberals stoop to almost infantile levels of behavior (stealing yard signs? really?) and when in large enough numbers to give them actual courage, destroy property, start fires, pepper spray women, basically do anything and everything they can to silence the opposition.
Now you blame Trump for "emboldening" a few already unstable fringe elements. He did no such thing, you and your left-wing propaganda machine were the only catalyst needed to set them off. These are a small subset of individuals who are doing these things. Of course the left has a similar subset. But, the left also has another much larger group of organized "disruptors" who show up in bus caravans wherever your leaders need them to help the locals and act out. As far as I know, the right doesn't have anything similar (maybe Soros just pays better). So I ask again, show me ONE instance of a large, angry Conservative mob forcing a liberal speaker to cancel, throwing bottles or pepper spraying liberals, or idiotically destroying a Starbucks for their cause.
The backlash you're getting has nothing to do with Trump and everything to do with your own ham fisted attempts to demoralize and demean your opposition at every turn and at any cost. This is your ugly baby, for once stop pointing fingers, take a look in the mirror, and own it.
