Just a weirdness I noticed this morning while wandering around before going (or while going to) work.

Delivery trucks. Marked and unmarked. Rentals. Some parked. Some on the streets. Most were not expected. A bit too many which made me notice just how many there were! It was rather surreal.

Made me think of those tales of detention centers at Walmart!

Not much new here. Work, drink, sleep, repeat. And look, November is coming to an end! Where did it go?

Or perhaps, Thanksgiving has gone, time to start consuming for Christmas...as well as all those Black Friday purchases getting delivered. Lots of delivery drivers by me just use their cars, at times of great busy-ness I would've thought a van rental would be a sound investment.

I not sure it is surreal, you and I must have quite a different perception of what is or isn't surreal or weird for that matter, but on the bright side, putting aside the grossness of consumerism, more delivery drivers could mean less people taking single journeys, which leads to less air-fouling emissions - in theory at least, we have to factor in the diesel element of course when trucks are involved (in the UK at least).

I'm aiming to get my best foot forward into the in-coming new year. See where it gets me. I am greatly heartened by the children and young people stepping up to demand a frank and open discussion about the looming global catastrophe that is a consequence of ignoring and failing to enforce emission reduction targets over the past three decades. It is their future and the legacy we have left them with was avoidable, they cannot wait until they are adults to take the reigns, now is the time to make a difference and they will need all the help that they can get if they are to inherit more than "The Wasteland".

I think I'll go to Jerusalem this June. Who wants to join me? I haven't booked yet but I saw a lot of hotel & flight for less than 600€!
I mean that's awesome, right? You guys need holidays too, I can smell that.

Work is super stupid today. I've lost all faith in humanity. But at least it's quiet.
What's going on in the hood? I'm so excited! Jerusalem!? In 6 months! That makes me happy no matter how stupid this day is. I don't have to work for three days in a row. I get a second project, all good.
I hope you guys are all well too?
I feel slightly increasing weird and woo just thinking about this ancient city! What a great idea...

Hey Peeps!

Glad to hear you’re doing well at the new job! I’ve been decent (except for the earthquake) and busy.

Woo? Had a dream where I started to go lucid and this cat-like thing hissed at me, “Go home, bot!”

That was weird.

You tripple posted even. I'm a little bit too busy and off the internet. Have you heard of "Okkervil River"(?) that was my last music before the internet left me. 12 strings are cool. I dreamed about an electric guitar tonight it was fun.
How was the earthquake? Scary stuff I saw it on the news yesterday, seems like Anchorage took it like a champion. And I immediately thought about you in the middle of it all. Glad you're fine.
How is the job change going?
Love you too baby!

As long as there are girls dancing on the table you're fine with it all, that's good to know... guys so easy to entertain

You do need a vacation. I keep telling you. Imagine the weirdness if we both go to Jerusalem. Tell your boss you need time off just a week or so and we go June 11th to 16th just a week come on. You can afford it we take the oldest hotel there and who knows what strange things we will experience.
Pretty pleeeeeeeeeease?
I'll go anyways but imagine we could tell everyone we burned down Jerusalem and there was peace. Haha just kidding, we won't burn it, just dancing in the streets. It will be fun. I will tell you exactly when and where I will be staying after I booked in a week or two.
How can I convince you?

I'm just so excited by the idea. Rome was already insane. Jerusalem is even older. And strange and unique. I will go either way you're welcome to meet me there if you want to.
Since I won't convince you I won't even try. 5 days of wandering around with camera, eating strange food, touching insanely old walls and maybe take a trip to the surrounding desert.
What are you doing up? Isn't it crazy late for you?
Party until now?
I'm having two lazy days dreaming. And then will have to work until sunday. What are you doing?
...you're thinking about it, right? That's all I'm asking.

I have a feeling I'll go crazy there. I read so much about the crusades and the Knight Templars I'll get arrested because I start digging for the Ark of the Covenant, in the middle of a street somewhere...

I was posting from work.
It was another party. In my country 2am is usually the end if you are in public and drinking alcohol. What is that for you like 8am or something?
I talked with the main owner.
Now I have 2 days off.

You would be the person who finds the ark if anyone did... but Im quite good at comprehending things. The ark is the rainbow bridge. Its like saying "kundalini"

I'm thinking about it.
Why not?
Life is only as fun as you make it.

Oh let me guess two days in Skyrim? In a week I'll be playing fallout 4!
I don't know when you posted I found it at 10am and was super surprised. It's not that late then. 2am is quite early for night owls. Around here the party stops at dawn. Or so I've heard...
This week is the christmas party from work. On friday.
Christmas is creeping up on me fast this year.

Enjoy your days off I just had three and did nothing I wanted to do. My place is still a mess. Maybe today...
We could dress up as Indiana Jones and Lara Croft, so we don't get confused with religious people. I think the Ark is a sacred stone shaped like something which inspired the old ones to think it comes from god. A cow or a lion.
Or a meteorite someone observed coming down?

Skyrim maybe in a bit im annoyed the dude stole my dragon soul.. and 2 days off turned back into one. But I did mod my switch finally. That was one of the hardest little azzess to take apart even... let alone get it back together with all the buttons working.

5 hours?! Something like that. Now i think its music beer and clean the house. I was going to lose it earlier dropping screws and springs bouncing around. Ive never seen electronics so small. Unplugging stuff with tweezers.. the tri wing screws everyone b1tches about werent even an issue compared to all the rest..

But..
I'm satisfied, and now it has a quasi D-pad. I may have to work on the right controller just a bit more to get more clicky.. the start button wouldnt press after i was done but that was just a matter of being loosened a bit.

Then copy my files to my 256GB sdcard, put that in there and im good to go.

Anyway..

Looks cool. I'd say it was worth it.

I had the weirdest dream tonight I was on a bike ride with my dog, but he was riding one too and it was like I was training him to be a good human. I get that a lot in my dreams lately. Like all the souls one the edge of rebirth visit me? Crazy stuff.

Today it's back to work. I get training for a second project, after the crazy times of insurances is over. I already ordered internet. I feel a bit like my second life is about to start.
I'm thinking about starting to do fitness. The Nordbad around the corner offers swimming and fitness center for 69€ per month. Should I do that? I'm not sure I need a second opinion...
I thought about Yoga, but I don't like all the people I know doing it, so no. I need sport of some kind.

Lately I get adds on ATS, they're weird too...

I started using another browser called "brave."
If ATS won't fix redirects that break the website I can't be bothered to use chrome or firefox. Speeds it up nicely.

Weird I was just dreaming about cats mostly with human qualities. Talking and stuff. Your avatar is like your dream. It says "peeple" and its a bloodhound no? "Chunky meat" or is it "Campbell's Chunky soup?"

I love that damn thing even more now.
Just the level of patience needed...
So worth it though.

A fitness center with a pool?
For me it would only be worth that much if it was nice basketball courts and nice pools.
But thats me.

I'm crazy drunk. I just had three sipps (?) of Limoncello. I can't see right and all of that crazy alcohol side effects.
I'm afraid there's no baskett ball. No baskett no ball involved.
Ey what's up in 'Merica? (Imagine me leaning over with bad breath stinking like a lemon) how are you handsome?

I think I'll go to bed now...

It was not just one EQ.

The first major jolt, 7.0 M, was followed by 5.7, then a 4.5, a 3.7, then a huge, 5.1, then 2- 3.8, and one 3.7 M. That was the first hour! We are still having aftershocks. Had two a couple hours ago, 4.6 and 4.1. They say we will have them for years.

I had stuff knocked off the shelves here at work. I had glass wares knocked out of the cabinets at home. Somehow, the half and half, and a plastic jar of mayo, both jumped out of my fridge. I had a Pyrex casserole dish take a swan dive from the second shelf but it lived. And a half empty bottle of olive oil decided that life was not worth living and fell to its death on the kitchen floor. Books were knocked off the shelves too but none were damage. Not bad. A slippery mess and some broken glass. No other damage. The power was mostly on the whole time (my microwave did not need a reset).

Other people had it worse. Most people still have frayed nerves (my supervisor jumps under the desk when the aftershocks hit). It was big. Remind to be so pro doom porn because the real deal is kind of a drag!

That's impossible to imagine for someone who never experienced something like that. Crazy stuff, the Earth moves?! I mean something like the ground, the good old stable floor shaking? That's just insane.
I'm just glad no one was burried beneath houses, like in other places. Glad you're fine.
The olive oil is replaceable.
Aftershocks for years? Is that normal?

I'm sick.

Now I'll lose my job and it's all just one massive brain # and #. We will never meet. Not in Jerusalem not any place else. We're just two people on the same crazy train. You're doing a lot better than me. But it's all just #.
How can the world go on like this? I mean it's bound to fail, mankind and everything. # the system, but now I'm part of it. What the # am I doing? I should try to stir the # not cook it. If they don't fire me now because I am sick I think I'll quit and go back to drugs. Why am I even trying it's all just #. # it.
That's my thoughts for today. # & #. What are yours?
