Hey Night!

Been really busy with life in general.

Today was my first day back at work in a couple weeks.
I put in for a couple vacation days, I gave like 2 weeks notice.
Then a couple days before I was supposed to take them I was told they could not be approved.

I straight up said to my boss, I put these in weeks ago. You had plenty of time to arrange someone to cover for me.
Im taking those days.
So I did, I left and didnt answer my phone when they tried calling.

I honestly thought I was going to get in trouble today when I came back.
But boy was I wrong!!

I get called in my bosses office almost immediately when I got in.
He tells me to sit down and asks how my time off was.
I tell him it was good.

Then he says, this week is going to be your last week on 1 week on 1 week off.
Your going to go back on 4 days on 3 days off.
Then hands me an envelope.
Inside the envelope is a letter thanking me for everything ive done for the company, innovation and blah blah blah,
and a notice of an Salary increase of $8000.

I was pretty shocked. Considering I had just got a raise at the beginning of this year.
Not to mention me just leaving and going on vacation hahah

Oh goodness life can be funny.
