St. Medard's day is not a holiday as such (in the modern sense of the word). It's a Saint's Day, one of many in the (Catholic) church calendar. It is celebrated on June 8th each year.

I just thought it was interesting synchronicity that you asked about birthdays -- on my birthday!

I don't know what time it is either. One of my cats forced me to get out of bed. Now she is back to sleep.

Hello shed people!!😀 i decided to try and make today a great day so im kicking things off by being social and dropping by my home away from home the shed.

Yesterday was a bad day (work issues- resolved now) but today will be good im hoping. I want to give special thanks to kaelci for being stalwart and comforting by my side during my ordeals yesterday.

I feel like writing a short story here today. Not sure if i have time but it would be based off of recent experiences while fishing at night under the guise of fiction.

Hope all are well and happy birthday to Just Mike. A good man and a great shed member.

Hi John! What are you doing to our New England weather? Rather chilly for this time of year

I like it when it's cooler. I hate it when it's hot - there's just nothing to do against heat.

Don't you like it?

Hello Shedfolk - sort of a grumpy Shepherd online today.

I've posted another episode of Falling today. Follow the link in my signature line, or you can use this url to go directly to the new post: Falling: An Epic Fantasy - Caan and Ashu

Hi Shep!

It's been fifteen minutes I've been trying to post, my device kept crashing.

Anyway, here it is:

What name would you like for the land of the shed? It has to be something more fantasy-like than "shedland", but it can't be Accasia, nor Acassia, not even Akkasya (since they all are names of corporations or other stuff that already exist).

So, how would you name the Shed if it was an awesome country?

Just work stuff. We have a code peer-review process and my code keeps getting rejected, essentially. Sometimes it's legit, sometimes it just feels super nit-picky. Last 2-3 weeks have been a long string of not programming well enough to suit my team members, so I'm feeling a bit down & frustrated with myself, and a bit annoyed.

I try, but sometimes it's like I just can't figure out how other people want things done. I'm not a stupid person, and I have 16 years of experience in I.T.
But some days I feel like I know bug-splat and everyone on my team thinks I'm incompetent.

No beers name.

Seriously though, it's kind of a deal to me. I'm out of inspiration. It has to be more peotic / cooler than just "shedland", and it can't be Accasia since the name already exists...
