That is one of dad's problems. He is only on medication when he FEELS that he needs to be. He relies on his vitamins and other over the counter poisons to help out as he read about them online. I think he takes about two dozen over the counter pills topped off my all his sports drinks that he buys when they are on clearance.

Your Dad sounds a bit like mine. My Dad used to be a medic, in the army. He knew it all better, always. Then he started feeling ill. Then he was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. He refused to take any form of medication and started feeling iller. After a few days he ended up in intensive care. Oh how he knew everything better...

My dad was never a medic. All he knows is what he reads on the very truthful internet. He has type II diabetes and in between eating ice cream and the weird diet of the month he only takes his meds when he feels he needs them. His best option is to be put in a home that specializes in old farts like him as he cannot help himself or anyone else.

Thanks. It had been the first time in years. I'm hoping to go to more but not sure. One is this weekend but I have no idea if I'm going. I'm getting a van so probably not.

Timely, how are things across the ocean? I tried to stop throwing donuts out there, but that didn't work to lure them out, then I felt bad and started throwing donuts out to them again. Should I yell and throw a hissy fit or something? Maybe I'll cry then they will feel bad. Yes?
