I don't think Trump is an idiot, just that his mind is starting to slip in his old age. He is the oldest person to ever be elected president.

It makes sense that Russia would want him as president if they had Intel about his deteriorating mental state, the more unstable a president is the easier he'd be to control.

Just go back and look at his interviews from the 80's and 90's, and then listen to him talk today. Completely different.

If you spend time around those with dementia or Alzheimers, you get a sense for how they talk and act, that isn't Trump. (IMO)
But yea, given 30 years, I'd sure hope he sounds different. Reagan was able to remain in place after his mind was gone and his wife, (a bit nutty) ran things for him and did a decent job. I think if the situation was like that, I'd almost prefer Trumps wife as opposed to Trump himself. (even if his mind is 100%)

fyi, my family is LOADED! my great grandfather bought a boat load of land in texas to farm and well... loaded. lol

congrats on having a rich family. It's funny, I heard lots of lefties bitching about Trump not doing anything but getting money from daddy. Yet he took 1 million and turned it into billions. Dumb luck I guess. it's a shame his granddaddy didn't buy a bunch of land on Texas, then he could be sooper rich and spend his time hating on other rich kids on the interwebz. Good times.

You are missing the part where the 1 million dollars also included his daddy's name as leverage and the illegal 3 million dollar casino chip loan and all the money and assets he inherited when his daddy died.

But yes keep pushing that lie that he is some how a self made business man.

First off where is the evidence that anyone in the Trump admin have made any kind of deal with Russia?

Remember Manafort working for Russia in Ukraine? Remember Flynn agreeing to testify only if granted immunity?

I only see evidence of the administration doing things Russia does not like.

I'm sure Lavrov hated seeing intel classified NOFORN.

1. Got rid of regulations on Coal, supports US oil production - this hurts Russian oil sales which is the biggest income source for the Russian economy.

It would if any utility actually went back to burning coal. By the time they retrofitted again, a new administration will be in and their efforts may have been a waste of time and capital. Coal ain't never comin' back, baby.

2. Russian sanctions - they have not been eliminated and the Trump admin continues to talk tough about them.

He doesn't dare do otherwise! He's being watched like a hawk. That said, it is rumored that he wants to return the two Russian compounds closed by Obama back on the "DL."

3. Syrian missile strike - Clearly not in the Assad's interests, therefore not in Russia's interests.

On the contrary! He warned Russia of the attack so they had time to move their assets. If Assad lost any assets, he would have to buy new ones from Russia. Sounds like a double "solid" to me.

4. Nato members pay up - This will only make Nato stronger in the long run, not good for Russia.

And it cost him nothing. Meanwhile, he is pulling out of the Paris Accord, sowing doubt about America's commitment to honoring treaties. Not good for NATO. Remember, Trump did not exactly affirm commitment to Article Five.

Um, yea, I'm gonna need you to quote me where I claimed he was a self made millionaire. What I did say is he took a million, and made it into billions. I didn't claim he was nice to everyone, or treated them fairly, and I didn't claim he did it all by shining shoes as a 6 year old. If you have a penchant for putting things in people mouths and vise versa, keep your words away from mine.

Sorry if adding facts to your statement that you left out on purpose to make it seem like Trump was a better business man then he is is troubling for you.

Typical nonsense lefty argument devoid of any substance. Just throwing around insults.

Hillary was a bigger idiot. Therefor America elected the right person.

See how simple that is?

And now, as the far left does everything it can to tear apart the presidency

That will be their undoing. They will be proven fools for their sabotage. The vote IMHO is actually guided by a Higher Power by means of inspiration. So, that same power that got President Trump elected also has the power to get people fired from CNN for making hideous gestures.

You guys think there is some kind of grand conspiracy by the left to get rid of Trump. You are really being superstitious. No one on the left want's to replace Trump who is a social liberal with Pence who's much further to the right on every social issue. By your logic, I could argue the right wing media is trying to get rid of Trump so Pence can be president which is who they wanted all along.

You're right they don't want to replace Trump with Pence, they honestly believe if they get rid of Trump then Pence goes with him.

Yes this is a grand conspiracy theory by the left and a conspiracy planted by Podesta, Mook and Clinton.

Well considering his accomplishments, I have done hell of a lot more. Heck I didnt even need a "small" loan of a million dollars. He also bought his way into the presidency. What has he done on his own and not on the backs of others? Does he have any accomplishment worth touting?

After watching and listening to all the claims made since Trump became a viable candidate for president, there is a pretty clear theme going on. Trump is a bafoon, a fool, an idiot. He can't even tweet right. He spills all his secrets to the Russians and can't even keep his own secrets when interviewed by Lester Holt. He clearly is all those things.

Dear me.

I dont know who you are referring to in relation to the source of such descriptions of Trump but to whatever extent it may have come from posters on ATS (not counting yourself) I would have to say that just how much of a fool would any ATS poster be to claim or infer that they regard themselves as competent to declare a mutlibillionaire who is president of the United States, a fool and an idiot ? far out..

Bill Clinton was politically shrewd and the main reason that Hillary didn't implode much earlier. Hillary has no demonstrable grasp of shrewdness without Slick Willy and a team of people to point it out.

Bill was a terrible man and terrible President, but he was an excellent politician, speaker, and political strategist. I think that's part of the reason why Hillary hates him so much - she knew she could never match him in that respect, and knew that she needed him. That must really piss her off.

Now that really is unfair. Trump spent roughly half of what Clinton spent, and his spending was even less compared to previous Obama campaigns.

You can throw a lot of accusations at him, but he ran the most financially effective campaign that most of us have seen.

Snatching victory from such a strong contender with only half the spending? That's about as far from "buying your way into the presidency" as you can get.

he was so dumb, he tricked the MSM into giving him twice the face time Hillary had and didn't pay a dime, he just said some outrageous things and *poof* the lemmings all pointed cameras at him and laughed.

BTW, what years were you president of the US? And what kind of tax bracket are you in with billions in the bank?

This is nothing new, GWB was also a buffoon. So was his dad. So was reagan. Every republican president is painted as the biggest moron to walk the face of the earth, barely able to breathe without someone whispering in their ear how they should do it. With bush it was cheney, with trump it's bannon. I don't remember the one they claimed was pulling senior's strings but with reagan it was Reich. It's the same story with every republican. Meanwhile every democrat that is elected is the smartest person to ever take office.

At least you are making baby steps here and can admit that Trump ran a financially efficient campaign. That's the first positive Trumpism I have seen you almost say. Bravo.
