I don't care if Russia was involved.

You know what? I don't care if Russia was involved with Trump winning - not that I think they were. It just takes a certain line of thinking to come to this stance.

Either Trump is one of the elites, untouchable and nothing can be officially pinned on - no matter what. Even if every source is telling the truth, if every road leads towards the verdict that he is guilty of this crime..

Or, he's a regular person, and the elites would do all they can to get him out of there, even make stuff up - news reports of unconfirmed, unnamed, unverified sources.

What I do care about is how many resources are being poured into these crazy investigations. Conservatives "knew" Hillary would not go down due to the email fiasco, yet allowed thousands of man hours, potentially hundreds of thousands of our dollars be used for such things?

This is one huge reason the government is not efficient. Witch hunts designed to lack indictments from the start, partisan bantering is essentially funded by us, the people.

I'd rather one kid be fed for the year rather than these stupid investigations continue.

You can't have it both ways.

Either Hillary/Trump are normal citizens that are accountable to every law as much as anyone else - and they are in the same boat as us, with us, for us - or they are not. Either way, what are these investigations for?

Well to play devils advocate, you should.

Whether you like it or not, we go another politician. And between me and you I'm glad it'd not Hillary..

That being said, as it stands, we have no savior. So if you'd like to play partisan American football, sure your team won.

Celebrate while you can, as it stands I don't see a reason to do so.

So stay on your high horse.... Many of us know it's business as usual, and nobody won.

I don't care either.

We got a much better result than Hillary Clinton and frankly are way better off.

Now, do the people on ATS think that the U.S. doesn't manipulate politics in Russia? China? Every other country on the planet? It is pretty stupid to worry about this since every country in the world messes with ever other countries elections and politics and the U.S. is the WORST offender.

If we did get messed with then we deserve it...karma.

I'd rather have a social liberal as president rather than Pence. If Trump get's impeach what difference does it make?

The only reason it's on the news is it's making money. Controversy makes money.

So you don't care that another country influenced our elections to get who THEY wanted into office simply because it's Trump?

What if Hillary was president right now and it came out that another country rigged our elections to get her into office, would you not care then either? Or would you be up in arms, pitchfork at the ready?

But I do find the sudden shift from vehemently denying the Russia narrative to now not caring one way or the other very telling. Doubts creeping into your mind?

I think it's more like just realizing that the fake news likely won't stop anytime soon.

dailycaller.com...

The Post’s secrecy has produced its doubters. Over the weekend, Republican South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, who serves on the Senate Committees on Armed Services and the Judiciary, said he believed The Post’s account was bogus. “I don’t trust this story as far as I can throw it,” the South Carolina Republican said on CNN’s “State of the Union.” Graham, who served on the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence between 2007 to 2009, doubted the Russian Ambassador would transmit the Kushner proposal via an open line, saying it “made no sense” since Kislyak would know U.S. intelligence authorities were monitoring the communication.

When you have Lindsey Graham sticking up for Trump over fake news, well, damn, I just don't know anymore.

I wish folks would just let Trump be Trump for a few weeks and see if he flops or makes it on his own. So far, he's been nothing but a fireman, and congress is doing nothing but looking in every woodpile for Russians. Meanwhile, back at the ranch........

Of course we do. I use the same argument with this situation.

But is that right? Read my response earlier I'm glad it's not Hillary.

But is it right? Is that what we want to reflect us as a society? If we "project" freedom, I'd that how?

I can argue your point I'd you'd like, but I'd love you to hear mine.

No, it's a matter of not caring if Russia influenced our elections. As in if Russia really did influence our elections in favor of Trump and it is proven then it doesn't matter and they don't care because Hillary.

The sudden change from denying anything and everything to do with Russia influencing our elections to now not caring if it's proven that they did... that is very telling.

I still don't get why it's ok to take money from countries who throw gays off buildings and fund terrorism.

While their at it, investigating Russian shenanigans, how about go back and investigate the people that paid protesters to incite violence at trump rallies. At least there is some evidence of that. They are on video admitting that they did it. Not one person that sponsored the protest went to jail or paid a fine. I guess they will just let that slide and it will probably get worse in the next election.

Hillary would have been a disaster.

Don't blame me that Democrats couldn't find a better candidate.

She was awful.

Hypothetically speaking.... Russia did the DNC hacks, how did that change anything about the election anyways? They exposed corruption within the DNC?

Kennedy had the back of his skull blown out. Somehow "even make stuff up" doesn't seem, if the above was the case, like they are trying as hard as they could.

I agree and disagree. Trump is a shill or he isn't. I am leaning toward him being a shill but for a different shill team.

Unfortunately these investigations need to happen weather the reasons behind them are shady or not. Land of laws gotta follow them.

I am looking into some new stuff (to me) regarding the truth about the email and Comey.

The video below seems interesting enough and I want it to hold weight:

www.youtube.com...

I want to state the accusations to you but I suffer from memory loss and would have to write it all down while watching.

Again, I cant verify but my light investigating this election makes me believe it has some truth. IF you truly wont watch it, let me know and ill put in the work.

They had a better candidate morally although his socialist idea would have crumpled our economy. But we are going down eventually, why not do it morally.

Video says Comey is a Stooge that has protected the Clintons in the past, he was Deputy Special Counsel in the Senate Whitewater Land Development Scandal. Comey let them off the hook there. There's other examples in the video like where Comey was with the DOJ and investigated and cleared Bill Clinton of any collusion with Mark Rich.

Comey is as corrupt as they come. All of his power came from his association with the Clintons.

Just watch his Twitter feed and him constantly feeding into the MSM narrative.

He's been a disaster when it comes to unifying America. So far he has done the complete opposite. You can try to blame that on the media but Trump is the one who keeps giving them their ammo, sometimes intentionally.

I'm sure he's been great if you like drama and controversy. I'm guessing you like and watch reality TV?
