That is an interesting thought. During the cold war N.D. worked extremely well. With no major confrontations between the 2 powers. Nuclear proliferation however, has made this 2 player game a multi-playered game. With multiple players within the form. The form may change, because many of there strategies will differ. The idea of a nuke in the a country (strategy) is highly effective. With not being able to decifer on who was the main actor. With a multi-player game, you must look at the smaller parts of the game. You will never, gain a fully all for one mentality. Team (alliances) are formed, causing a simplification of the game. Or the game occurs on a smaller playing field. Such as India/Pakistan. When deterance, still rains as the best strategy.
However, with game theory, one must assume to be a player in the game. One must be rational. Hence the support non-proliferation and the sanctions of those countries, in regards to Non-rational leaders gaining Nuclear power.
