Threatening a sitting president is a federal crime. That's well beyond free speech. Enough is enough.

I totally agree

But...

It's Potus;

every 4 years, possibility of change

This is beyond "threatening"

Potus doesn't need "restraining orders"

Wow?

Put Obamas head there!

Kathy Griffin blinks...

A visit from the Secret Service likely helped her see the light.

Kathy Griffin: I'm sorry, I went too far...

See, this is the net result of being brainwashed and having your opinions dictated to you - she does not need to apologize, unless money is about to dry up, because she is entitled to go full-retard under the Constitution.

She has apologized because today marks a turning point in her $$ career - and she most certainly knows it, unfortunately for her, she will forever be known as the American ISIS comedian.

Mental illness has taken hold of the left-wing Marxist extremists. (Not an exaggeration.)

Yes, that's an exaggeration.

Marxist extremists?

Where? It's hard to find a socialist around here these days, let a lone a full-blown Marxist.

I am for criticizing those that deserve to be criticized, but don't make crap up for the sake of politics.

What she did hurts all real Americans, or it should no matter what your politics.

What she did was an ISIS thing.

i don't believe freedom of speech protects you from making threats to a sitting president.

this photo to me is a threat to president trump. i'd be surprised if she doesn't get in trouble for this stunt.

my two cents

absolutely. It's way over the line.

Can you point-out the threat that was made to the president?

Awww...she apologized after Chelsea Clinton tweeted it was yucky, what she did.

All you have to do on the left is apologize, right?...Then everything is fine.

You folks need to stop with the emotional drama crap.

ISIS actually beheads people.

What Griffen did was hold a fake head covered in red stuff for a damn photo shoot for the sake of humor, art...whatever.

We can agree that it was in bad humor or bad artistic expression, but surely you can tell the difference between # art and an actual beheading.

Kathy Griffin apologizes for photo shoot with bloodied Trump mask, says she 'went too far'
Kathy Griffin admitted Tuesday she "went too far" on her latest photo shoot with controversial photographer Tyler Shields in which she is holding a bloodied mask of President Trump.

She sees the error of her stunt or Llkely the backlash was so severe she apologized

www.msn.com...

In a Twitter post late Tuesday, Griffin said the image "is too disturbing," and that "it wasn't funny."

"I understand how it offends people," she said, adding "I've made a lot of mistakes in my career."

According to the gossip site, Griffin joked with Shields on set they would need to move to Mexico after the photos were released or fear imprisonment. In her Twitter post on Tuesday, Griffin said she was going to "take down the image."

"I went too far and I was wrong," she said.
People took to Twitter to express their disdain for the photo shoot.

Reps for Griffin did not immediately return Fox News' request for comment.

Shields told Fox News that Griffin was hoping to create a bold message.

I disagree. I don't think she was threatening to behead the POTUS. I think she was trying to be edgy (and failing miserably as my past post shows).

If the SS wants to talk to her fine. But I doubt they think she is going to climb the white house fence in an attempt to behead Trump.

As far as putting Obama their, you are right. Many media people and others would have freaked out.

But that doesn't mean that this excuses Trump supporters doing this.

Its just someone seeking the acceptance of the near universal left population in the entertainment world by making a bad joke. Let them all pat each other on the back, and let the rest of us laugh at how pathetic they all are.

But lets not become the over serious outrage mongers that we claim to hate.

It’s just too much violence in our world for people who can influence others to do this kind of stunt just for a joke…

…Thinking about those heroic men who were stabbed to death in Seattle defending a woman from a bigot informs us to try to live together, despite differences…

We need to as they say:

Increase the peace

I think every president has been depicted hanging from the gallows. That is a pretty normal "statement" in visual form.

But, what Kathy Griffin did is beyond that. In ISISesque form, she showed our duly elected president beheaded after being beaten to a bloody pulp. That is not a normal "statement" in visual form.

That is a message. She's a sicko meth-head-looking unfunny looney lefty, imo.

So a depiction of someone hanging from the gallows is "normal" but a depiction of a beheading is "ISISesque"?

ISIS also hangs people.

Were those depicting someone as being hanged also "ISISesque"?

I don't think an apology is going to let her off the hook that easily,
What was she thinking?
