According to the Associated Press, some diplomats have spoken in condition of anonymity that Iran is testing parts that can be used to make the
fissile core of nuclear warheads. Althou according to these same sources Iran has not started any of the centrifuges which are used to enrich
uranium. This never-the-less is a sign that Iran is not going to keep their pledge on not conducting such activities.

Iran publicly insists it only wants to make low-grade enriched uranium for nuclear fuel. But a European summary of talks with Tehran leaked to The
Associated Press says Iran has privately acknowledged what Washington and its allies have argued all along - that as an oil rich country it does not
need nuclear energy.

If Iran acknowledges that it does not need nuclear energy why exactly are they testing such technology?
I have made another thread in which sources outside of the US, including Ukraine, India and Germany, claim that Iran is conducting tests in secret
underground facilities and has bought missiles that carry nuclear weapons. Why buy such missiles if you are not going to enrich high grade uranium
for wmd?....
The actions of Iran, and the information which comes from sources outside of the US, all confirm one thing....that Khatami wants to develop wmd.
