Hi creative minds of ATS!

Are you ready for some gorgeous and fantastical compositions?

Jakub Rozalski, a polish artist, has been attracting some attention in the art world with his work which combines rural landscapes, warriors and peasants from various cultures and times, with monsters, robots, and heavy machinery.

I love his overall compositions. The subject matter makes it all the more interesting.

Here are a few of his pieces and I'll link to a website which has more of his work.

Enjoy the art and have a wonderful Friday!!

Here's a link to his site:

What do you all think of his work?

Wow, that's pretty awesome. I was kind of at an artist's block, and I just found some inspiration from this.

Thanks for sharing as always.

TGIF! Have a fun and safe weekend my friend

These are pretty badass!! I love the incorporation of primitive living with hightech hardware.

These kind of remind me of the thriftstore re-paintings.

Mine too!
The layering of time periods, cultures, of human, machine, and monsterous figures are just so compelling to me.
And very skillfully done.

Thanks for stopping in and posting!

I had to zoom in to realize it is 100% painted. (I'm on mobile)

Digital painting is one of my favorite mediums.

Now I'm even more impressed.

Thanks for posting this, I wasn't aware of this particular artist! One of my long-time friends is an art dealer (also from Poland), and he introduced me to another amazing Polish artist, Zdzisław Beksiński -(WIKI LINK) . Here are a couple of his paintings:

I recently learned that there is a movie (biography) about Zdzislaw called, "The Last Family". I don't speak Polish, so I haven't watched it yet... IMDB The Last Family

Reminds me of the artwork by Dave Pollot on paintings he finds at garage sales.

Thanks for posting this. Those were cool. I especially liked what I assume is King Kong.
