Wish I was being paid commensurate with a Russian agent of influence. Even at the exchange rate of rubles to dollars, I'd bet I'd be ahead of what I am pulling down now.

When that happens, it kind of shows you aren't really smart enough to be in the discussion in the first place.

Wow, I sure disagree with that. Sometimes stupid is an annoying waste of time, obfuscates the truth and should be called out.

Though, to be clear I don't think you're stupid.

I mean the facts are that 70% of the votes were sent early and were 95% in favor of this a-hole who got charged with assault. Meaning even if people wanted to vote against him they couldn't. Nothing could be done at that point. He already had it in the bag.

Well now let's just do some simple math on your gifted assertion. The total votes in the Montana special election According to the NYTs was 377,465. Multiple the total voters by your unsubstantiated assertion that 70% voted early results in 264,225 early voters. Now multiple that by your assertion that 95% of the early voters voted for Gianforte results in 251,014 votes for him sent in early. Since his actual total vote count was some 61,000 less than that I would say that your assertions are as wrong as your other supposed knowledge.

Try again

No. I'm not.

I've been in a personal position to have seen what dicks the press are from much, much earlier than this, but it has gotten a lot worse.

Trust me, the national press has zero, none, nada, zilch respect for the people they interview and even less if they have reason to think themselves superior in some way.

So it should be allowed to just start violently assaulting them so nobody needs to answer difficult questions then???

Because that is what you're saying here.

You're not actually giving me a valid answer. You're trying to justify assaulting someone for persistently asking questions of an official. Which is a good thing. People who are screwing people over and rigging the system don't want to answer for themselves. So I'm glad someone is in their face demanding answers. Drop the partisanship and reverse the situation and you'd be saying the same thing.
No but according to the NYTimes Gianfortes campaign manager stated that when that aggressive uncivil reporter busted into the office of campaign headquarters and stick his recording device in gianfortes face, gianforte tried to grab the microphone and Jacobs grabbed his wrist.
Stuff happens when people get insanely rude. Huffpo said it was the fault of the atmosphere of anti media sentiment...so no Russians there ...or is there ?????

Exactly what I would expect a Russian disinfo agent to say.

Russians aren't retarded.

Well, some may be. But we use the terms, "disabled" or "challenged" now.

I didn't call the Russians retarded.

I said the Russian Theory is retarded.

You would know that if you weren't also retarded. Excuse me, disabled.

You sound as though you're still angry... were you hoping for some good news from Montana?

Dems would give anything for any kind of win just now. I understand that they are even covering all bets on the ponies just knowing one of them will win.

I can't take any ideology seriously that wants to take away more in taxes, dictate my healthcare, restrict my speech, determine what and how many guns I can have, ad generally just removing freedoms and increasing the size of government.

So I make jokes because to take any of that crap seriously would be insane.

If you look at the vote counts as they came in Gianforte was actually behind early on - I would assume they count the early ballots quite early on ...

He won because people in Montana aren't afraid of guns. Strangely though a native Montanan Quist claims to be for the second amendment yet doesn't seem to know the difference between a hunting rifle and an assault weapon, which even half of ATS knows since there were threads on this regularly. Maybe he just forgot due to his singing career in Nashville.

Wait, the people here, unless they are from Cali are expert marksmen and even these new age women here can be mistaken for Annie Oakley. We do know the difference, but an outsider might not.
I've personally met a real marks woman who is said to
Be the reincarnation of Calamity Jane...

I'm not trying to insult anyone so I'd rather not go into detail.

So you're saying that you haven't directly insulted at least several people in this thread already?

To be honest, I am kinda special.

So special that it bears repeating, just to drive-home the specialist nature of your very being.

So these are index funds?

Isn't that kind of a stretch then? It paints the picture like the guy is a Russian Mafioso, has an office at the KGB, and owns a Vodka factory.

Hey, good for you for double checking me. The first time I said that on page 6 I think, I was quoting an article. Here's what it says.

Nearly 70 percent of votes in Montana were cast early -- before the alleged assault took place. According to the Associated Press, with 95 percent of precincts reporting, Gianforte led 51 percent to Quist's 43 percent.

The one you're quoting I can see I mixed it up a bit and that's my fault. Another article I'm reading is saying that the 70% only has to do with the early votes and not the total votes. So it seems there is some confusion. I can only go off what is being reported. But I really don't think that makes a huge difference.

But good for you in checking the math to make sure. My point still doesn't change in any significant way though. It's a Red state and this guy was always the favorite to win anyway. So it's no mystery that he was leading. However many people said they wished they could change their vote, but couldn't because they used the early voting system. But I give you credit for checking the math.

That entire story has already been shown to be false. Completely made up and released before the witnesses verified what had happened. Then they had to backtrack once again.

In fact because of that story is why it's such a scandal. Not only did he assault the guy but then they tried to cover it up by lying about what had happened and blame the journalist as if it was his fault. But then witnesses verified what had happened and he was charged with assault.

So not only did he assault someone but lied to cover it up and got caught at that too. That's who you're defending. This is already well known and documented already. I mean why do you think he's saying sorry now???

If what you say is true he wouldn't be getting charged and making a public apology. You're not keeping track of what's happening and using incorrect stories simply to try and win this argument. But you've already lost since it's already been shown what has happened. Sux to be you. Trying to defend what has already been proven and admitted to by the guy himself. But keep at your disinfo campaign. I"m sure you'll still have some suckers who will believe you.
