Jared Kushner met the Russians in December, after Trump was elected. What's improper about that? Trump was trying to improve US/Russian relations.

It looks to me like they've already failed to find any direct connections to Trump, and Flynn isn't talking (or more likely, he did but didn't provide any grand tales of epic Russian conspiracies), so they're going down the list of his associates in hopes of finding something to salvage this farce of an investigation.

News feed from July 23rd, 2245...

Today, the FBI expanded the Trump investigation into collusion with Russia in the 2016 election to include Sarah Porter. Ms. Porter has been identified as the woman Donald Trump dated in 1978 for a period of 4 months. Unnamed sources verify that the FBI has video evidence that Ms. Porter has been visiting a well-known Russian doctor rumored to have ties to the Kremlin.

In other news, the Republican Party chairman today spoke at a GOP luncheon against increasing the FBI's budget beyond the present $1.6 trillion. The chairman expounded his belief that the increase, requested in order to continue the Trump investigation into collusion with Russia during the 2016 election, is not needed because President Trump's demise 7 years ago has "rendered the investigation moot." Many Democrats, however, still maintain the investigation is relevant, with one unnamed source confiding to an unnamed reporter, "despite the lack of direct evidence, we feel certain the investigation will turn up conclusive proof that Donald Trump did in fact assist the Russians in commission of a direct breach of national security."

And finally, a special election in the state of Vermont has shifted the Senate in favor of the Democratic Party. With the election of Lloyd Donaldson, the Democrats now control more seats in the US Senate than they have in the last 2 decades - a total of 7 seats. Officials inside the DNC claim victory, saying "this is the start of the rejection of the Republican and Libertarian stranglehold on Washington politics."

more than likely 99.999% of this wouldn't even be in question if they had filled the paperwork out in a truthful manner and would quit acting like they are guilty of all hades!!
they way trump has been acting, shoving around prime ministers, revealing the location of nuclear subs, ect..
I can't help but wonder if he is building up his defense.... ya know he isn't guilty, he's just incompetent as all heck with a mind of a five year old child!!

and, even with four or more investigations going on, trump and team scrambling in search of lawyers...
the spider is still weaving it's web!!

You just made my day, I will not be surprised if the investigation starts to do a security check for a span of they day they were born on Trumps associates and family members.

After all that is what is done when somebody is working in the government, Unless your name ends with Clinton or their associates.

Apparently he did business with a Russian bank that was under sanctions for the Russian invasion of Crimea.

Ut oh!

The person that ran that bank was also a well known Russian intelligence agent.

Wow, it got crazy tonight. It's really historic but, apparently, might not be illegal on the face of it, depending on what was said.

Jared asked for a secure channel to Kremlin through Russian embassy.
And yup... outside the scope of listeners???

They had to realise how bad the optics would be.
