Yes, keep ignoring the fact that half the country exists. See how that works out for you.

The puritanical outrage against such a minuscule action, one of exactly zero consequence, proves a narcissism of a different sort.

True. However, the OP used this "minuscule action" to form a silly ideology centred around geopolitics. As if such "minuscule actions" will ever have an affect on global economics and political agendas. I personally don't care about Trump's behaviour in this case. I assume many were simply responding to the OP's thought process—the fact he seemed to think Trump's "minuscule action" symbolized something that will actually make a difference in world politics. The opening comment said more about the OP's thought-process and his limited understanding of world politics than it did about anything else...

Moral outrage is self-serving in nature. It signals affiliation, and is a property of the worst groupthink.

I agree. There is much more worse things going on in the world at the moment to be outraged at to the point of actually taking action.

BTW have you come to terms that it was a "bro-hug", not a shove?

I'm not sold on the idea, but I see where it is possible. I still rather prefer the idea of it being a pure gesture of GTFO of my way.

ETA: The difference is that I'm hunky dory with it either way. I'm not going to gnash my teeth if it is revealed that it was a "bro hug"... the same obviously cannot be said over the many who are rending their clothes and throwing fistfuls of dirt over their heads over the idea that it was Trump shoving some dweeb out of his path.

Did you see PM trying to wiggle his hand out from Trump's back?

Not true, you might be fine if it is but you went out of your way and even made a thread to cheerlead because you thought it was something else.

That was it, wasn't it obvious?

ETA: I remember now, that wall of "justification" won't work to undo the knee-jerk.

Your reactions are part of the establishment's plan.

An Alpha male in a pack is dethroned and exiled the moment he shows instability, insecurity, irrational behavior.

This is the second point about alpha males that has no reality anywhere in the animal kingdom. A fight usually determines alpha status.

What else have you gleaned form your pseudo-fantasies?

That is a pseudo-fantasy alpha male position.

Besides, he beat a girl.

Considering the far worse things people say about Trump. calling him an oversized toddler is actually very respectful.

Funny, but I don't think so.

The fervor for americans to take back control of their country has been on a roll for a while. Some think they have and that they are bucking the system. The post about the "establishment's plan" shows that.
