If you had a little more experience of living under authoritarian regimes (you don’t know how lucky you are), you would know that, under the conditions that pertain in and around the office of the US President today, anonymous leaks are the way the truth always gets out. Because few people are willing to commit career, financial or actual suicide.

Obama had nothing to do with him maintaining his clearance unless Obama wrote the law regarding a process that's been in place for decades.
That clearance is automatic.
You don't get access to classified info just because you have clearance. All ex presidents all ex state dept meaning Hillary and Bill both maintain their clearance even though neither have access to anything classified at this time.
Now when Flynn was hired by the Whitehouse he should have been screened again because of the stature of the position he was getting.

But this is the freakin least thing this Whitehouse has to worry about.

Staff is lawyering up and rewriting their resumes anticipating needing both.
