The media isn't trying to get trump out of office either. Apparently that's his desire otherwise he'd have straightened out by now.
It's trump doing it.
The media is only reporting what the clown does. They don't control his mouth or his short little twittering fingers.

If Trump starts wearing a "radioactive" button, you know, the black "propeller" on the yellow background, it will be a sign that the DOJ is going to proceed against CNN using the OP's cited statute, which seems to be related to the Atomic Energy Commission.

Otherwise, I think they're safe, for the moment at least.

Are you kidding? Where do you want to start? How about the ongoing narrative that Trump colluded with Russia? How many "legitimate" news agencies do you see printing stories on a daily basis yet provide ZERO PROOF? I sure don't see any retractions / corrections.

How about the fake news story about the "Trump Dossier"? Haven't seen any retractions / corrections on that one yet. Or how about when all the "legitimate" news agencies reported Trump was going to quit the presidential race? That one was classic. Never saw a retraction / correction for that one.

But let's get back to my original question to the other poster I was responding to before you responded to my post which wasn't directed at you. Show me the news articles from the Right-wing media where they were actively pushing for Obama to be removed from office. I want to see those. Also show me where the Right-wing media printed false and misleading statements about Obama. I want to see similar headlines about Obama you lefties are claiming the Right-wing media propagated during his time in office.

It's funny how any story that paints Trump in a negative light is the media's attempt to discredit him. Soon there'll be no news at all if that's the rule, since almost everything Trump says these days is self-incriminating. But, I guess it's tough for the 'poorly educated' to admit they're wrong, (actually, I'm guessing it's tough for the 'poorly educated' to even realize they're wrong...). Oh well, who cares? Soon they'll be whining about how the media's unfairly bashing President Pence, until he has to resign too, for his own documented lies about M Flynn. Yeah, very funny indeed.

It is no longer about belief , rather it is about agenda. It does not matter how many lies the media has been caught in, if they push an anti-Trump story, some are going to say it's true JUST BECAUSE it is anti-Trump.

If there was concrete evidence he would have resigned. There is only circumstance, and the press hammering him every chance they get gives traction to a wild goose chase. They are threatening the liberties of the american people who put him in office.

Maybe a class action lawsuit against CNN, MSNBC et al. for influencing stock market losses through false news stories.

Their abysmal track record of being duped by anonymous sources will be proof enough that their actions have been recklessly negligent.
