Ok, so this purely hypothetical...

Say rock solid proof that trump made a deal with the Russians were to become public, what would your opinion be????

Just to actually define the little thought experiment..

So let's say that a tape were to surface of a meeting between Trump himself and Russian intelligence agents. Where they make a deal to exchange the hacked emails being dropped a moth before the election, for trump dropping sanctions on Russia and not interfering if Putin decides to annex Ukraine...

Let's also assume this is the full extent of the deal.

How would your opinion of the situation change??

What if any should the consequences be???

I don't have an opinion.

I doubt Russia has the power to annex Ukraine. Outside of Crimea and southeast Ukraine, there is a lot of hostilities in Ukraine toward Russia and they will not be receiving Russians with open arms. That said, Germany isn't going to stand by and do nothing if Russia invades Ukraine. Germany has the best arms in the world and they can be headache to Russian invaders.

That has nothing to do with the hypothetical...

What would your opinion of the situation be?

What consequences should it carry?

Russia can't even beat a bunch of 3rd world sandal wearing Qaeda folks in Syria. If Russia invades Ukraine, Russia would have its second Afghanistan. German arms would pour into western Ukraine via Poland.

What does that have to do with anything?!?!

The hypothetical doesn't even include Russia actually successfully annexing Ukraine, just that trump agreed not to intervene...

Ukraine does not have any treaty with the US. If Trump agrees not to intervene, nothing wrong with that. The American public would not accept a single American casualty fighting Russia in Ukraine.

What kind of deal with the Russians? What would the Russians have that Trump can't acquire by himself?

You mentioned annexing Ukraine in your OP...

No I mentioned trump agreeing not to interfere with Ukraine..

The logistics of actually pulling that off wouldn't be any concern of trumps, nor this conspiracy... nor the op..

Trump nor the deal would be dependent on purine success in Ukraine..

That said .. I don't buy for one hot second that the Russian military is less than the split by civil war Ukrainian military..

But as I said that is irrelevant to the op

Trump and a few others might be the only ones who can answer that question. Most of us don't have the all consuming need for money the way he does, and the feeling of never feeling you have enough.

We should be glad we don't understand! It must be like one of those poor 600 pound people who can never feel full. Never get enough. I think it could be born from a type of emotional impoverishment, but not certain, of course.

In this situation taking him out of office is the right thing to do.

Personally with more and more info coming out I doubt trump is directly involved. It seems to be the people he has hired in his business and campaign and possibly even some family members that are involved with Russia. Most likely using trump as a useful idiot.
