No it's reaching a level of absolute tragedy. People in the Whitehouse are rewriting their resumes and obtaining letters of reference. I'm gonna say this, for someone who supposedly has nothing to hide he sure as hell is acting like someone who has something to hide.

I'm dreading what he might say or do on this trip. I mean he called out mosques as a breeding g ground of terrorism and he upbraided the pope and now he visits the land of Mecca and Vatican City.

Mosques are a breeding ground for terrorism. Not all of course.
As for the Pope, he is a fraud.

I don't disagree that Trump is bringing this on himself, but only in the sense that he knows that every word he says is going to spun to make a headline. It still does not make the media anything less than disgraceful.

He thinks he's 9 or 10. He's a 4. So they paint him as a 2 because the idea of him because a 9 is disgusting.

Congress did not sanction any investigation on Trump. Comey personally chose to do investigation using FBI's resources. That's his own fault for getting fired. And good riddance I say.

Interestingly as far as we know, Trump has never been under investigation and still isn't. He himself is no more part of the Special Counsel's investigation as anyone else who might be relevant to the Russian hacking question.

Perhaps the conversation didn't quite reach a level of criminology and Comey didn't want to unduly influence the investigation so he just made a note of it as questionable behavior. And other incidents that taken individually mean little but when viewed as a pattern of behavior and combined with trumps video and audio confession that he got rid of Comey because he was in his way with this Rusher thing it appears bad.

Comey isn't king. He needs Congress approval to do an investigation. Since he did not get Congress approval to investigate Trump, he abused his office and he was rightly fired.

Was just reading up on the laws for prosecuting journalists. There is a route.
If they are called in front of a grand jury to reveal the leakers, and refuse, they can be sent to jail. With all the leaks, we can't be far away from applying this to the reporters of both WaPo and the NYT as well as the cable news outlets.
