Oh wow, I hadn't seen the cover yet. That's impressive.

It is dramatic and got people talking about the Trump/Russia story. "Mission Accomplished" by Time.

Have we not been hearing about Trump-Russia for the past 7 months? Perhaps longer?

Looks like a cash grab IMO.

Free speech at it's finest.

Looks like an accurate representation to me.

Trump should totally rock that!!!

If he did the place up like that for just one week, and for no other reason than to troll the # out of the media, I would get down on my hands and knees and worship him.

I sh!t you not.

Time magazine showing their level of retardedness , that's Saint Basil's Cathedral not the Kremlin, now a museum, officially known as the Cathedral of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos on the Moat, so what's it doing merging with the White House, well perhaps the fact that it was designed as a flame of a bonfire rising into the sky might give some indication of the way things will turn out current trajectory...

This exercise in "free-speech" is about exploring the limits of unproven allegations without breaking the limits of defamation.

Retrospectively, this is nothing but another example of the MSM shooting itself in the foot. Or this gets proven, or their credibility as an "information source" is shattered, while their commitment as a deep-state propaganda tool gets obvious.

You should read the US Code and the bill of rights. You seem a little confused.

Nah...freedom of speech, and to publish, and satirize people, places and events.

The only thing thing seemingly to get a seriously detrimental and life threatening reaction...is publishing a picture of Mohammed.

The current Time cover is fine...and quite funny...and we are in America...so there ya go.

Disrespect to the office and the president is nothing new.
It's only intensified under Trump, because he is proof that the media machine has lost it's grip on the American people.
This new wave of disrespect is a tactic to regain it.

They attempt to make you feel dumb for thinking for yourself. Don't buy into it.

You (ETA: removing reference to other conservatives because there are a bunch in this thread who know what is up) really need to learn the definition of sedition. Time magazine's cover is NOT an example. This is just Time exercising its 1st Amendment right and triggering you for it.

NO NO... CNN FIRST! They spoke repeatedly of Trump being assassinated. After CNN is brought to its knees, then TIME will face the Investigative panel.

You'll have to have the 1st Amendment repealed before you can do any of that.

Looks like the assault on America and one of the foundations of democracy is in effect, and those who happen to be so triggered and/or butthurt about the cover of Time in their cultist adoration of Trump that they wish to whittle away the First Amendment.

Thanks OP, you get the anti-American award of the week.

As others have pointed out, this is not even remotely sedition; it's a First Amendment issue that is constitutionally protected, thank god.

While I think some of the unsubstantiated (fabricated?) claims being made in the media right now are perhaps bordering upon sedition, this Time cover, however repulsive, is simply an exercise in freedom of speech and freedom of press.

Free speech is criticism with backing of opinion. This is not free speech. This is sedition IMO.

Well, good thing you're not a constitutional lawyer!

This OP has made no secret of their being on board with shutting down any and all media opposition to Trump and doing away with the protections afforded by the 1st Amendment. Thread after thread, comment after comment, their position has been made quite clear: Trump is more King (dictator?) than President and any and all voices of opposition not only should, but must be silenced.

That's what's scary: it's not an isolated belief.

And if I correctly recall, a degree of that also exists within the Trump administration.

THAT is dangerous to the First Amendment and to democracy, and is further enhanced by blind allegiance.
