Seriously this place looks like Mars or something. No water. No food. It's barren. Mi-28N and Shmel M are effective. Mi-28N is on par with Apache D/E and Shmel M is 90 mm reusable thermobaric which is said to have a blast on par with a 152 / 155 mm artillery round.

When the guy fires the AT4 at about the 13 second mark, the munition just falls straight down, and he looks off in the distance? This looks fake.

Some of that footage is range training. You can tell at :46, all the silhouettes in a neat row...

Shmel M can be seen at the 0:13 mark and the 0:55 mark. The original Shmel was 1 time use. Shmel M is resuable. It's explained in this video.

I think we were seeing a sleeve that falls off the round after it leaves the firing tube. Since it is reusable, it would require the rounds to be packaged.

That's correct. The tube that falls onto the ground is sort of like the casing of an artillery round that gets ejected after firing the round.

Yep there's also a red circle highlighting the explosive hitting the ground further away down the range than where the sleeve falls

It stills look funny though when it falls, like the round just drops to the ground instead of working, reminds of this French fail vid

It's an RPO-O Shmel. It fires a thermobaric incendiary rocket for use against fortifications, light vehicles and infantry. It replaced the LPO-50 and TPO-50 in Russian service. First used in Afghanistan I believe, very effective.

But that one definitely had a launch failure. Other videos of them don't show that happening as normal. What falls is far too big to be the rocket casing.

Anyway, I think this is either an exercise or a 'for the press' propaganda film.
