They already started making excuses why this will not amount to anything.

They are claiming Mueller worked for a law firm that represents Ivanka.

Cool beans.

This should shut the liberals up for about 30 seconds.

Actually studies suggest the attention span of a typical liberal is around 20 seconds. About the time of an average Viagra advertisement.

Another ATS member pointed this out earlier that if this much attention was payed to the corruption in the last few administrations both Clinton(the rapey one), Bush, and Obama would have been impeached. I tend to agree with that statement.

Well...cue the deflection, right on schedule.

He seems like a good decision.

I look forward to any findings provided he is completely impartial.

This investigation should time time restrained to 1 year. If nothing comes up in 1 year, the investigation should be terminated.

...and already the calls come out for limiting the process.

All I got from the post was that apparently conservatives pay inordinate amounts of attention to commercials for erectile dysfunction medication.

I guess that explains all the angry old folks.

The Democrats do not want the investigation to end, that is not good for their agenda they want to keep rolling the Russian affair and now the Comey link until mid term elections, I been telling this all alone.

The reason is because this all they have to see if they get more seats in congress.

They are a joke.

I see them turning against Mueller on the very first inquiry in front of the panel, when he comes short to give them what they want.

They certainly seem to like the ads as points of reference. Here in Canada, we prefer the traditional second/minute/hour scale, but hey...whatever floats yer boat, eh?

Not a Special Prosecutor?

Oh, that's right... that woukd require actual evidence of a prosecutable offense.

It would also require the position of a special prosecutor to actually exist, lol.
Mueller is face that Democrats will end up not liking. I give it a month before they are calling him a Russian spy.

I think I can guess the content of his final report;

1 The good news; lots of evidence that Russians did bad things.
2 The bad news; no evidence that Donald Trump asked them to do bad things.

Well he has authorization to investigate russia and anything else that might arise from the investigation so its entirely possible it could include clinton. The accusations started by Democrats occurred during the election. Democrats keep claiming the hacking of the DNC / Podesta emails altered the outcome of the election and they claim it directly helped Trump.

What do you mean IF he is completely impartial? I guess the next call will be for a special special pwosecutor?

Hell you been nice, I expect the Washington Post and the NY times to have an unnamed source to tell that Mueller have been bribed by Trump.

Mueller has been give the authority to bring federal charges for any crimes he uncovers. Instead of a special prosecutor anyone of the 94 AAG's can do it. Unless democrats can provide evidence that would disqualify each one.

As much as they hate Trump, I have a hard time seeing them sit on evidence that could remove him from office. If they had it, they would have used it.

So, I basically am in agreement with you. They want to use this scandal of rumor and innuendo to try to create a wave election in their favor.
