And who's to say Comey leaked any state classified material? If this took place it was an alleged private meeting between Comey and Trump - not sure that classes as state classified material. Keep digging though.

Trump however being especially thin skinned cannot tolerate criticism and blames others for the perception that he's a tyrannical moron. So not shocked. I'm glad Comey documented it. I'm quite comfortable saying that. Manning stole and handed to wikileaks classified military and diplomatic material. Comey (or someone) may have leaked the contents of a discussion between two individuals. I have no way of saying that the contents of said conversation are classed as state classified information - do you? But if it is, and Trump is apparently already threatening to release audio tapes taken covertly of previous discussions - if he did so, surely that would be worse than either?

But what if the information is not classified for national security reasons, but reveals a criminal conspiracy? That is what we are discussing here. When Russia leaked DNC emails, they were heroes for exposing corruption, remember? If Comey's friends are sharing what Comey told them about Trump's illegal attempts to quash an FBI investigation into potential treason, the public certainly needs to know. Trump's supporters are not conservatives. Conservatives believe in the rule of law, and that no-one is above the law.
