But like with any business that I frequent, they have things that I like, and things that I can't stand. Well it's hard to come up with more than just avoid them. But you have pointed out a (problem?) that does exist. Yes it's annoying, and ...............essentially means nothing. Some like the stars, in fact I would not doubt some play back and forth giving each other stars for count ? Never the less, here we are.

"Just noticing the downward spiral of this place over the past couple of years". .....you say, as do many others. And as many say it is traveling the path of humanity, reflecting the climate the world finds itself in.

I'd ignore the political threads, but watching the media is driving me nuts with politics. We can debate that stuff here without getting sucked into the far left or far right.

There just isn't any really good UFO sightings lately. The only lies from businesses lately are the ones coming from Pharma and the Media corporations. I was just reading a news article about a big increase in California of norovirus. www.youtube.com...

Yeah, the Pharma companies have just developed a vaccine for it that doesn't kill anyone anymore in trials. So the advertisement campaign is in full swing. The media is a tool to spread this corporate campaigning. Pharma takes out a lot of ads so the media promotes any doom porn they spread.

The media is big corporation, remember that. They are not in it to spread the truth, they are in it to increase sales and ad sales. If you want the truth, do not look towards the media, even local news in your small local paper or on the tv is glorified and often controlled by local business interests. Truth is so hard to find today it is a full time job deciphering it from well accepted current beliefs.

Because someone on the internet was wrong and needed correcting. The following 2 gifs best describe how I roll on ATS when I am 'debating'.......



If you are on here every day keeping up with the live page then you will see a lot of repetition, including from myself. If the same subject matter is discussed then the same monologue will ensue from opposing parties. The number of active posters versus total traffic through the site would be relatively small (at a guess) so what may appear as repititon to you is in fact the first time someone else has read or heard of it.

As annoying as it surely is, it seems to me that the recent habit of exclusive discussion of US politics comes under the banner of a political scandal, which, lets face it, the entire mess has rather brazenly become in the last few years. The end of the Obama administration, leading into the Trump administration, has been a period defined by scandal, by intrigues, by accusations of meddling by this nation, by that party, and by the parachuting in of corporate goons to take over high level office in government.

It would be highly irregular if the activity here at ATS did not reflect that to some degree, and although I would prefer to see a great deal more variety in terms of the threads posted and the discussions people are starting, I also understand that the reason for the volume of threads on the US political situation, is simply that of all the stories people are hearing right now, those seem to be the ones which have the most threads to pull on, the highest chance of revealing a man behind the curtain, or a solid smoking gun for SOMETHING big.

The situation is chaos, and chaos is interesting to watch, draws people into debate very readily indeed.
